I really couldn't pick a favorite between the BA variants of these stouts. They have all been some of the most memorable and amazing beers I've had in the past year or two. Do whatever it takes to acquire them.

I bet I am going to Vermont in late October but that is it I do get my fair share of cigar city and funky Buddha since I go to Florida a couple times a year.

I generally like chili beers but this was a challenge because it didn't have a lot going on other than hot. I would have preferred some more going on.

I would say that's quite a bit of travel. From your "wanting to travel more" post, I thought you were one of those yinzers who hasn't crossed a bridge in 3 years.

I honestly don't even think I could drink a sip of this. Something about this beer just really turns me off. A beer of that color with 6 different peppers is just ...

or a blessing. That Wild Angels was allegedly an accident on an Areus batch. I think that stuff is awesome. Hoping they put it in bottles some day.

also, hit up Bullfrog for the first time today on my way back from Watkins Glen, and the bartendress said there is a tentitive bottle release lined up for mid september. I got a pour and crowler of some sacre bleue stuff that was delicious. Great food, cool staff, great tunes and overall very good vibe.

To be fair, that Abraxas I brought was from November 2014 so the spice settles down a good amount. Cake never seems like it settles down. Had one with a year and a half on it and it was HOT (and delicious).

The Vanilla Bean BOC was pretty solid. The Coconut was decent as well, just didn't get a ton of coconut flavor from it. Aroma was great, just wished the flavor matched the aroma.

I agree with all of this except I would put Tequila Cake slightly slightly barely very kinda before DBH.

Oh and I like regular Cake more than Abraxas
