Maybe it only refers to their temperatures as an "it's out of our hands" thing. I know when my box showed up on Wednesday the contents were a BIT warm since it was over 95* here. The thing that actually made me laugh was the "PROTECT FROM HEAT" sticker on the box...can't blame em for trying.

I wonder how quickly grassrootsVT would hit the ceiling if he saw that an HF growler was shipped to South Africa.

    Love that haul though.

The Coma has a killer citrus, piney smell; went back to my local shop for a few more after having one yesterday. The obligatory Pliney. Not overly-enthusiastic about the Brux, but who am I to say no? Wolf Among Weeds; always down for a new IPA.

He should be proud that his beer is enjoyed in the other corner of the world just after 17 days filled at the source.

Yep, I should win the prize as the BA who sent the package furthest. Next shipment will be to Tibet :grinning:

Haha my friend and I got two growlers shipped to Guatemala. One filled with Nor, the other with Double Citra. They were both amazing.

I would hope that it doesn't upset him!

I have already had the beer (Harlan IPA) and it was fantastic. I fully appreciate that IPA growlers probably shouldn't be shipped all the way to South Africa, but it is the only way I can taste good IPAs as they are virtually impossible to find here. Further, if I feel that a beer has deteriorated due to shipping, I will not review it, nor mention it on BA, nor allow it to influence my opinion of the brewery in any way!

I trust my trading partners to get any IPA to me as fresh as is possible (Harlan was only 17 days old!!!!) and I will always drink the beer on the day/day after it arrives.

I think the far bigger "sin" is someone who could drink the beer fresh and lets it sit in his fridge for a few weeks! At least we have done everything within our power (short of shipping it in a mini fridge :stuck_out_tongue: ) to enjoy the beer as fresh as possible.
