Damnit! @jawas just got the delivery exception you spoke of. WTF?! It was a little 3-shipper, all styro'd and bagged up. This is the second time in a month I've tried to ship a Pliny and gotten an exception. Cursed.

 

Looks like I'm going to try to join Rare Barrel and then keep my preservation membership for one more year. I may take you up on this offer for a bottle or 2. If I can get that Rare Barrel membership I can always let the group know when I see bottles are available for purchase to members. You know, return the whole helping me out thing

My trustee is not happy in SoCal, and unlikely to continue living in the region long(or even short) term. I'm just not sure it will be worth it to try to mix 2 partners & an outside trustee...

@PA-Michigander, the inside box is much smaller... and i like sending beer to people... just some local yummies that i hope you enjoy. Plus, i remember saying no need to send anything, so you broke the rules too .

I'm actually glad that you sent your box before getting mine because then there's no worrying about trying to match, one up, or win (in the locals way)--just good people sending good beer to good people. And that's what we are all about. (Except for "I-have-no-regard-for-your-porch @whyteboy) right?
