No...i think were all talking about the same one....blood brothers did have blood orange and that was the one that was distroed around town.....the "blood orange berliner" was at Miami Madness day...it was awesome, like a creamsicle mixed with suntan lotion..i dug it

oh also how many people two years ago bought extra tickets for the OG Party for their spouse or friends?

Incredible foresight was needed for that, I assumed when the time came for the party he would look out for DD's and spouses but nope. Us out of towners gotta travel to Miami alone to drink these beers we've been wanting to try for years while being responsible so we can't really enjoy ourselves as one would hope.

Can't wait to tell my GF who has been wanting to join me down at JWB for the party she can't come because I didn't buy her a ticket two years ago hahaha

At CCB that night he's referring to they had the Blood Brothers collab and not Blood Orange. I'm 100% sure on that if anyone really cares.

That "Beer Named Sue" though...that was an amazing Berliner!

Im not denying that....i think everybody (myself included) who referenced "blood orange berliner" in this post as having diacetyl was actually meaning "blood brothers"...as I don't think the actual Blood orange Berliner was served outside of Miami Madness day a few weeks ago.

I'm in the same boat. How could I know what date it would be two fucking years ahead of time?!?! I foresee less than 80 people showing up for this.

I hope it's 80 people, then I won't have to wait in any lines:grinning: But seriously, I look forward to seeing how this turns out, and hopefully it ends up being a great day

Everyone loves to be a hater. While I agree there is plenty to hate on here, the negativity that is now in craft beer is just sickening. I look back 4-5 years ago and us FL guys didn't have hardly any breweries to complain about, I'm just happy that has changed.

And @BlumBeer , the Dylan post had me cracking up! Thanks for that ha ha

    Carry on....

JWB has had a horrible PR mess on their hands and has pissed off a lot of people. In turn, that tends to skew the perception of his product, albeit unfairly.

While hardly a JWB fanboy, I can say I've tried many of his berliners and have been pleased, no diacetyl to speak of. Even if Blood Brothers was infected, one beer isn't enough for me to throw in the towel.

(Oh, and those BA La Nada variants aren't too shabby either.)

Seriously....when I was there a few months ago, La Nada was the highlight of visiting Wakefield.

The whole reason I bought someones OG membership was because I figured a La Nada variant would end up in a bottle....and I need that.

Contemplating taking the plunge and buying a ticket to MIA to get to said party... anyone want to join forces and make a trip to funky Buddha afterwards pending how drunk/sober we are?

Ideally split an uber up and back to MIA area? I have a buddy in the area and plan on crashing on his couch but he OBVIOUSLY can not go because I did not buy him a ticket in 2013.

Not the best train system and some stops can be in rough areas. I used for business a few times to get to the airport when the rest of my team had to stay a little longer. I was using it up in the Palm Beach area to get to Fort Lauderdale airport so can't say much about the south part of the train system. My worst experience was actually kids because I just happened to take the train right after school got out and the train filled up with yelling, screaming, annoying kids going home from school. Not the quiet working train ride I hoped for.

It is an option and you may have to uber it to a station but cheaper than uber the entire way or worse a DUI.

So if we're not going to the party can we give our ticket somebody else? Likewise, can your trustee pick up the party bottle for us?

Got a reply from JWB, we are able to pass along our tickets and have our trustee pick up our bottles for us.
