I've got a set of the GoVino wine glasses, they're decent for that purpose. The only thing I'd be potentially concerned about is how micro-smooth the plastic is. Nucleation points would suck for a beer glass!
I have a complete set of the wine and champagne ones, for use at the pool and on the go. But for beer I like the silipint http://www.silipint.com/. The weight of these GoVino glasses are a little on the light side. The Silipint has a better feel
Love the sillipint glasses, easy to pack in and out using a soft side cooler bag. A quick Google search found these, is this what OP is referring to? I like the little "thumb" cut out. http://www.amazon.com/Vino-Set-Beer-Glasses-5020/dp/B00K1KHUU2/
http://govinowine.com/Shop/Beer/ They hold 16 oz. According to the site there are 2 styles, one handwash and one dishwasher safe. I am guessing the dishwasher safe have more heft to them, not that I would throw them in the dishwasher. That is the only issue I have with these glasses is they are rather light, which is good but also bad. I like something with a little weight to it
I have them and use them for certain situations where glassware is impractical. Slightly better than a red solo cup. Not bad overall, but after a few washes they look a little worn out.
