or you can show up after the rush and leave in 10 minutes.

perhaps not at Treehouse so much, but at Trillium there is a very bizarre phenomena of people showing up and waiting in line at Saturday @ open when there is never a line a few hours later

I don't mind waiting in the a.m. I usually have things to do in the afternoon. so I get there early and wait and i'm out of there very shortly after 11am. lunch @ bt's, ht up uankee and back on 84 at noon. leaving me with a shit-ton of good beer, a full belly and my afternoon to rub it everyone's face. lol. jk. sort of. not really.

edit: time of wait at any good brewery depends on what's on tap.

Personally I think we're all nuts for doing it. But I have and will do it if I have to here and there. The interesting part is that people also complain "oh...don't get there early, that's rude to the brewery, I like kissing their ass through the fanboy message boards" So you can't win really haha

Because a LOT of people on here have some kind of weird "I was here first" mentality and think that a whole bunch of people with the same tastes as them are somehow lesser fans or customers. That they're ruining it for everyone else by nature of being there. (Everyone in line is here to tick or trade!) Anyone who didn't like the band til they were on the radio is a phony, yaknow.

The Trillium lines are the ones that puzzle me the most; the last two special releases have seen lines literally down the block. Or you can wait ~90 minutes and be in and out with the exact same delicious beer in less than 5 minutes.

My recent trip to Tree House I arrived early (2:30), I just happened to be passing through. The time before I arrived at opening.

I prefer to arrive early as it is less hectic, throw your bag in line then hang out and read/work or whatever.

Arriving at opening in my opinion is your worst bet, big crowds, less relaxing. I have never shown up late (7/7:30), but that may be my next plan of attack.

I cant believe the limit is 12 on the Eureka given the fact that no more beer will be canned this week Ma at 8 per seems high as well .

Wouldn't expect cans to last past tomorrow night. But then again without any of the IPA's or Pale Ales up right now it may be a slow night.... Doubtful

I think it's simply the fact that most people's schedules do not even allow them to consider going at 3:00, so they have no choice but to go after. They don't really consider that other people may have more flexible schedules that allow them to go earlier (and get home earlier).

I do think it's pretty insane to get there more than 2 hours early, but whatever floats your boat.

Why does anyone care when somebody else goes? I prefer to go later in the evening cuz I find it to be less hectic and a shorter wait time. I only go early if I'm worried about something running out. But, if it's better for somebody to go 2 hours before opening, what do I care? Whatever floats your boat.

General beer enthusiast attitude that everyone in front of you in the line is a dumb hipster who doesn't really know or appreciate beer, probably only drinks IPAs, and is just going to trade this stuff anyway.

A lot of people are frustrated by the line at Tree House these days, myself very much included. But I can't really get mad at anybody for it. If people want to show up at noon that's their business.

Eagerly anticipating extended hours . . . can anyone within the brewery comment on whether there are plans for expanding / extending hours beyond the standard Th, Fr, Sa hours?

Would love to have can-only or extended growler times.

As for standing in line, I can't do it with my schedule. If you can....wait away! It's great beer!

I get to Trillium to get out early. Green Street is a perfect example. Started out with 6 per, and then they quickly narrowed to 4 per after about an hour and a half of huge demand. I did like how they did Bottles only first, and then Growlers afterwards. That definitely kept things moving. Personally would like to see the same for Treehouse.

For Tree House, is it safe to say that the Cans line is generally is quicker than the growler line?

Significantly, yes. The can line is typically 15-20 minutes at open and typically 5 tops after the opening rush.
