I actually traded one straight up for a Grey Monday...as part of a larger trade

 

Honestly not a bad trade. This is a really damn good beer and this batch is better than the last imho. Less viscous and more balance on the cinnamon and coffee. Really good.

 

But not as cheap as kicking back and having one show up on your porch....

 

Round se7en hint 3: shipping west

To my target. My hints were limited since I've been on vacation but I did pick up a couple bottles for you while I was out of town. I'm hoping to ship early next week.

 

Had my parents stand in line for me at Alesmith for Viet Speedway today, they ran out 1 person in front of them, epic fail but awesome parental mules nonetheless.

Was brewery only and it looks like a few bottles made it to bars for a special event or two. Flying Saucer had their Sour Fest this past weekend and it was a leftover. Not too many JK beers I want to try (ahem, if anyone has a Foudreweizen they'd like to trade), but sometime I got money burning a hole in my pocket.

 

I've had some tough ones too, but I think I speak for everyone when I say that you should send Locals beers that are in line with their likes and style preferences, regardless of wants. Send beer that you yourself would drink and want to share with your fellow BA's. My whale might be something I've never heard of.

@soughtbygod, Not only is a lif to introduce yourself, you can do it at any time. It is just a way to pick a winner and send beer. Many times in this group, we Ninja people, where we secretly pick a winner and send them beer. In both cases, we send whatever we want, with NO expectation of return. Can be small our big boxes. Can included glassware, bbq sauce, potato chips, anything. So, the LIF is just the open way to seek a winner. Can be whatever you want, just something fun to get us all playing.

By the way, since you are mentioned in my lif, you are welcome to guess...How much did I spend at adroit.

 

If I am your target, please ninja someone with this bottle. I got one recently so someone else can benefit. But if you really insist...

 

I agree with others, anything I haven't had that you like will be cherished. Wants are nice, fun locals are great. Have fun with it!
