Pardon? Better source then being at the brewery?

Atrial was 1 per at 2500. This is 2 per at 5000. Might last until Sunday, might.

Nocturn Chrysalis (6000 bottles I think) was 3 per for the first weekend, 2 per for weekend 2, and 1 per for weekends 3 and 4, and IMO it's a better beer than Fen Tao. I'm hoping the Fen Tao release resembles the Nocturn one more than the Atrial one.

I think it will fall somewhere in the middle of the two releases. I don't see it selling out as fast as Atrial, but it won't last as long as Nocturn. My guess is sometime Saturday of the 2nd weekend after they go to 1pp bottle limits.

Yea, this is probably the most likely to happen. Syrah was 2700 1 per, and made it 5 days. Just remembering last year Fen Tao b1 release was crazy, and was their first release to sell out the first weekend.

I'm with you on this one. I don't see 2500 people to showing up this weekend AND maximg their limits. Atrial was a completely different story

They shouldn't tonight. However, tomorrow I bet late afternoon it picks up and continues into Sunday early. I have a feeling there will be a lot of Freetail spillover.

That's what I thought about Atrial, but the line was pretty long on Friday night. Syrah was the quickest pick up ever. Less than ten seconds to get a bottle.

Yeah the lines for Atrial at the end of the night on Friday were awful. I think most people knew they would get bottles the first night so they drank on tap and hung out and planned to get bottles before going home. I am heading over tonight around 7pm and will get in line right away before I start eating and drinking to avoid this.

    Cheers!

Atrial will always be the exception to the normal tendencies at Jester King.

Last years Fen Tao release was the other "exception to the norm". Keep in mind this bottle has connections to certain local communities, beyond just beer geeks. Austin Pride festival is Saturday, too. Gonna be packed.

No lines and no crowds!!! The way a JK release should be. Ten is more tart with much more peach flavor. Love to see where it goes in 6 months. Komorebi is a bit sweet but if you like pears, you'll love this. Not a tripel guy and a full bottle of his would kick my arse...135 soaking wet.

Glad I got into town late and missed a 40 person line. It's been super chill. Loving this. El Cedro is tasting mighty fine atm.

Weather is fantastic, Fen Tao is better than I remember...

But... Could use a cash line at the non-release/merch tent line is 30 deep for the last half hour. Or something,

Fen Tao took 5 minutes with cash. Perfect.

@jesterkingbeer I noticed that the ABV was down 1.5% from 6.4 to 4.9. Was this due to blending or just dialing back the alcohol a bit?
