ABR Tickets

Hmm, not sure I guess. I purchased 2 tickets a few days before the event online.

Did not look at the scheduling! Really wanted to attend Zwanse Day this year and now I have to make a decision...Not thrilled about making the 3 1/2 hour trek to Elkader (where?) but heard last year was incredible.

For the sake of financial stability, I'll share that myself and a couple friends have many extra tickets. Anyone who got shut out can email me. We'll sell them at face value - exactly what we paid for them.

Saw this got all excited, then saw it's 9/19. There's a slight chance I'll be in town, but am leaning towards flying out that day to Boston to have one full day to bounce around various craft beer bars and breweries before the Unite Conference.

 

Decided I'm going to Palomino and that I'll be sitting this year's ABR out. PM me if you're looking for tickets, face value.

Basically $50 for Town Hall's standard brunch, a ride to the event from Town hall, getting to cut the line, and $20 of an Uber ride after the fest?

I wonder if the Uber credit is just the thing for new users or if it is for existing users too. If existing users get the Uber credit, it isn't a bad deal, IMO

 

Totally. The brunch part of Town Hall sounds great and much needed, but the beer is unnecessary.

 

I can't believe the Guild allowed this. How many tickets did they sell to these people in order to re-sell them for this event. Not to mention how many people are they going to piss off when the group saunters up to the front of the line, that will probably be over 2 blocks long at that time. This is dumb.

 

Was hoping to make it back home for this but the timing didn't work out so I've got one ticket for sale at face.

 

there were no two block long lines last year AFAIK... they changed the ticket checking process and it was way smoother. so while that looks like a perk, I doubt it'll make much of a difference.
