I don't buy six-packs of beers I've never had that I'm not sure of - four-packs either for that matter - so I don't really face much of a dilemma if I don't like a beer. I buy bombers or a couple of 12-oz. bottles (one if I'm feeling skeptical) of new beers. I rarely pour beer out - maybe a few times the past few years - but for the most part, I figure it's only fair if I finish, in case I warm to the taste or the beer tastes better warmer...

I hand them to a friend, put my range headphones on, snap the double-barrel closed, and say "Pull!"

I tend to drink them during social settings where I care less about what I'm drinking. Going to a cookout or a party or something where I know I'll be drinking 6-8 beers and not caring about the taste after 2-3.

That or I use it in cooking.

I wait until I have friends over, then try to make them drink it.

I don't keep anything or consume anything that I don't like. I make someone happy--even if it just some folks working in the neighborhood.

Cook with it , feed it to the slugs in your garden, or bring it to the neighbors next party

I got some Alaskan Kolsch last summer and didn't like it at all. Added a couple dashes of Squirt (made with real sugar) to it, and it became a quite delightful summer libation.

Leave it on the store shelf

Seriously though, it happens. I rarely buy six packs anymore, unless it's something I've had and like, it's a beer from a brewery that do I have a certain comfort level with, or if I'm buying BMC. If you don't like it due to your own tastes keep it in the fridge and maybe a friend or visitor will like it.

I usually just drink it. I'll spread it out over time or drink one of them after I've had several others. Sometime I'll break them out when I have company. I know most of the styles that I don't like and seldom buy beer that I don't like.

Marinate meat for the smoker. Recently had to do this with Habernaro Sculpin, just too much heat washed out the tasteof the Sculpin, but my pulled pork loved it.

Either save it for others as everyone has different tastes, or cook with it.

Give them away to friends that enjoy getting free alcohol.

Give the brews away to a few friends or pass out at a party. Sometimes I save for a rainy day.
There will be that day when you need a beer and that is all you have. Been there a few times

Two things. They get stuck at the back of my frig for a long time and by the time I taste them they are so bad they get drain poured... or I just stick them on top of my frig and they sit there forever. I actually have a bomber I don't like there too even though I never tried it. It's Rogue Siracha. I bought it and read the reviews and decided it wasn't worth opening!

Depending on just what the beer was and how much I disliked it:
    • Drink them over a period of time or just plow through them depending on how the space is in the beer fridge.
    • Find a way to cook with them.
    • Find someone willing to take them off my hands.
    • Drain pour them.
