Yeah, man! I've definitely up for a car share. Haha. I'll be up there with a few friends. I have some Tired Hands I've been wanting to drink.

It really just gives an excuse to go back to RR, I love that place. Plus I was going to the Beat release no matter what, this way I get to do both at one of my favorite Brew Pups.

Be super careful with your "car shares". Santa Rosa PD doesn't mess around and if Russian River catches you then no beer for you...

appreciate the heads up  coolers and plastic cups in my own car ftw ! haha

im not talking about getting shit hammered and making a mess in the parking lot. im talking about hanging out and socializing a bit before we hit the hay for the next morning. gonna be coming in pretty late.

    From their Facebook

Here is the scoop on the Beatification release on Sunday Sept. 20th:

Beatification is our 100% spontaneously fermented beer aged in used wine barrels. We affectionately call the base beer "Sonambic" as a friendly nod to our Lambic-style brewing mentors in Belgium. Bottle sales will begin at 8AM out the back rollup door of the pub on the parking lot side and continue until there is no one left in line or we run out. There is a 6 bottle limit per person, no growlers. Bottles of whatever else is currently available will also be for sale out the back door- no merchandise, growlers, food, or draft beer. Pub will open for business as usual at 11AM entering through the front door on 4th Street. Bottles of Beatification will NOT be for sale in the pub that day, only out the back door. But it will be available to drink inside! In an effort to help speed up the line, we will have additional handheld devices with which to process orders faster. We ask anyone who shows up early to send the line East toward the back entrance of the pub. Please help us extend common courtesy to our neighboring businesses and other downtown visitors by NOT smoking or blocking business entrances. No drinking in line- it's illegal. We made about 500 cases of this batch, so there is a very strong possibility that it may be available for more than one day. I will absolutely keep you posted via Facebook! Our pub will be the only place in the world that Beatification bottles are available. If bottles are leftover the following week, sales will be as usual through the pub. Check out our website for what's currently available on tap and in the bottle! Finally, in the spirit of our usual weather karma on release days, perhaps we will get a nice big dose of much-needed rain!

    Wasn't batch 5 & 6 approximately 1000 cases?

Yep, this release is about half the size of the previous two. I imagine with the beer scene today it will not last very long. Expect grandmothers and "beer crews" galore.

At least they're adjusting. The sale of bottles/cases in the pub last year really made it so people double/tripled up on it. Hell, the waitress asked if we wanted a case last year when we had our already bought cases visible on the table already.

So half the cases, but also half the limit. I imagine that it'll be a fairly good moving line since it's also not cut into two sections of table service/bottles only. But it could very well last till Monday as I doubt there's 1000 folks going through RR that day. I also imagine some folks will just buy and get back in line.

I wonder if they are going to have some way to police that.

Last release, they stamped people's hands and I saw a bunch of people just wipe the stamp off after they bought their bottles and buy more.

If you're talking about Framboise 2014, I complained to Natalie about it and she told me people even went as far as changing clothes in the bathroom and getting back in line. Told me they were aware of it after the fact and that they'd work on making changes. I guess this is the result.

Yeah my friend on the inside said they invested in some crazy equipment and there's going to be a DNA registry to prevent people from doubling up on the same day.

That's $40 for a 750 which is in line with what DDG cost right? I guess everyone is raising their prices. Even at $20, there will be people camping out and it will sell out.

It was $18 in 2013, right? This doesn't surprise me at all.
