Total wine has one on Park Lane. I was there Saturday. I believe for $119 or $139.

Maybe your brother has a thing for Prairie or 3L bottles, but if I were in his place, I would much prefer a quantity of any number of lambics or American wild ales that could be had for the same cost or less. You're paying a lot for the novelty of a 3L bottle.

If your brother is a fan of Prairie beers like me.! ? It depends if you are pouring this 3L bottle W/ friends & brother - Or if you are Giving this to him, for a Gift .? You are better calling the day before, Look around DFW. to Find Prairie Bomb ! , & many of there Variants: Pirate , Apple Brandy, Noir, Ect... are out there..! Call around & get out your G.P.S... For $ 139.00 you can buy 12-13 of the Variants if you can find them.? Call First...!!! DFW.. is a Big market ..!!

I live in Okc and get all PAA releases, but this year we did not get a single fat girl release.... And yes the price factor doesn't come into play...just for the fun of opening some silly huge bottles of beer to pour for the group.

We are doing a hand full of lambics, a line of of beer geeks, and a couple of 3L's. Just going all out for this...so I would say the novily factor is the only reason we want them.

Thanks again guys. I'll do some calling when hit the road Saturday.

There's still some 2nd Anniversary around, which is much better than Elizabeth or Gold.

AT $139 a bottle you're paying nearly a buck fifty per ounce. Why would anybody do this??

It's probably their best saison. Shame they didn't make more.

You're basically payng ~$30 for the beer and $100 for the bottle. Have fun with that man!

A 3L would equal right at six 500ml bottles, so in all fairness its prob $60 of beer with Prairies pricing. But he literally just said 1 line above its not about the money and wants to celebrate and make it fun. Geezus.

We all pay stupid prices for this hobby from time to time...just part of it. I'm not making you spend the money. So we will enjoy and that's that.
