2015 Surly Wet

I take that back, Indeed's wet hopped mosaic pale ale was really good.

 

I, too, like single wet hop Mosaic beers...

Not sure if you had either last year, but I thought Town Hall's wet hop was damn good and Castle Danger's was awesome.

 

Nope, was dealing with a new born at the time so I could only really get stuff available on stores on my way home.

Will for sure try Town Hall this year.

 

Brau Brothers 100 yard dash was one of my top wet hop beers from last season. Didn't have Castle Danger's all that fresh, but it was solid.

Can't seem to find the other thread to reference....do we know how much is going to be made yet and will we see it in Chicagoland? Thanks for the help, gang...

I assume this means Wet is being brewed next week. I also found these references for 2013 Wet being brewed on August 28th, and canned as early as 9/12/13. People were drinking it on the 19th.

Yep, the plan is for 6000 lbs of simcoe to be exact.

 

Wow, cool... Simcoe is a good choice. I had heard they were doing Mosaic a couple weeks ago, but Simcoe is a fine choice.

 

For Me it was 2012 that was great, 2 years ago the 2013 was not as good IMO.

 

I was just trying to get at the some Surly Wet is better than no Surly wet.
