The number of guest is still hovering around the same. So yeah, at worst you'll have folks slam SARA with a line that is probably a few minutes to get through. Not a big deal, to be honest. And if they bust out stuff like hat trick or saucer full of secrets or some other one off that is great, the lines will be easily divided among folks.

I haven't been following these releases, but I'll be at Barrelworks this Sunday, the day after. Will these bottles be available to buy on Sunday, or are they release party only?

    Release party only usually.

But they do pull bottles out every once in a while and put them up for sale. Sometimes even larger format bottles. You just need to see what is in the cooler in the tasting room when there.

Anyone Notice the difference between batch 1 and batch 2 Krieky Bones? Both aged in a 2200 gallon foeder.

Batch one says "Time in barrels: 8 months"

Batch two says "Time in barrels: 24 months"

Batch one was only 140 cases, nowhere close too 2200 Gallons of beer. Is batch 2 the rest of what was in the same foeder?

case count for krieky is around 400. The thing with Picolla was that you basically had 2 different bottle counts in a 2 pack. So even if someone had a lot of them, it took 12 people or 12 purchases to get rid of a case of each. So that 500 case claim is pretty much on the nose.

The timing seems off but I guess it's a possibility.

My guess is they removed enough beer from the foeder, added the cherries in a secondary vessel with the beer, and bottled. They topped off the foeder for the next batch. The timing has a few months of unexplained time, perhaps for re-fermentation, bottle stability testing, or who knows. Or, they just have another foeder to work with, I have not paid that close of attention to how many foeders are in there.

Yeah, I assume they are fruiting in a brite tank since it's much easier than in a barrel or foeder.

Not sure if this is possible to arrange but I have 1 ticket (3 bottles Krieky Bones and 3 bottles of Zinskin) for sale at $113, the face value. Unfortunately something has come up and I am no longer able to attend.

This release party sounds great. Very jealous I missed out on the tickets. Hope to hear about the the beers served and quality.

If anyone has an extra ticket or can't make it, I will buy the ticket. I randomly happened to come to Santa Barbara this weekend.

not very likely since it was one ticket per purchase. I mean, it probably can end up being a case of someone having their friend pull out, but I think the means to transfer the ticket is basically having to email them and change it over and seems like not the best thing at this last minute.

While I would love to get myself some west ashley, I can only hope the line runs deep for SARA pours so I can load up on little bites of food and the barrelworks beers with little to no hassle.

The nice thing about Firestone liberations is that while lines may get long, they move fast and with the numbers there, it's hard to NOT get a pour of something unless you really try.

Excellent event today. SARA stuff went pretty quickly (about an hour) but the line was fast. Bretta De Oro was fantastic. The only bummer was the group camped out near the bottle pickup asking people if they could buy their allocations if they hadn't planned on maxing out. I guess it's to be expected now.

That was a really chill event. That Agochill..... I'm not even going to try to pronounce it, was off the chain. It was the Invitational collab peppercorn beer but with cherry. Oh man, so good.
