This is a violation of the secular holiday "Labo(u)r Day"...how dare you! : )

I will not be brewing this weekend in hono(u)r of working stiffs everywhere!

I will however, make a pilgramage to my brew buddy's house and watch him consecrate homebrew with his progeny. : )

I'll brewing up an extract pale ale/IPA tweener with peaches and wet cascades, both grown by @JohnSnowNW. A smidge of zythos pellets for bittering and dry hop.

Well, I'll take credit for the Cascades, but the peach tree was already here when we moved in. Though, I did save the tree from being chopped down by the wife. She thought it was silly to have a peach tree in MN, which was obviously incorrect

I'll be brewing either an APA or a Hoppy Wheat with the wet Cascades, and fermenting with the wild strain I captured from the peach tree. So, I guess @CurtFromHershey and I are brewing similar beers...just with different approaches.

I won a medal with Zythos, but I'd rather know what I'm using : )

Going to be brewing a big imperial stout, OG 1.108. Plan on aging it on cacao nibs, coffee, and raspberry purée. I'll be kegging my Citra/Galaxy pale ale too.

I took tomorrow off so I could have an extra long Labour Day weekend. Tomorrow I'm brewing an IPA with Citra and Mosaic. Also have to keg my pale ale that I brewed a month or so ago with Yeast Bay Funktown, very excited for that one.

Bottling up a Karmeliet triple clone on Tuesday. One week before foot surgery which will put me out of commission for several months. I'll have 10 cases on hand to see me through.

I'm doing a "kitchen sink" brew. Using up a bunch of random ingredients that I have around to make something that may or may not resemble a Scottish 80 Schilling. It's going to have some spelt, graham crackers, and molasses to go with the Willamette hops and Scottish Ale Yeast that I have on hand...

I'll be working more over Labor Day weekend than on a normal weekend. Homebrewing an ipa and smoking some tri-tip. A perfect weekend for me.

Extract Berliner. And, if I can remember to get the starter going tomorrow, a petite saison. And kegging a sweet stout. We'll see if I can keep to it.

No rest for the wicked... my shop is open on Labor Day, so I get to deal with all the desk jockeys for an extra 11 hours on my feet this week.

No brewing for me, but I should get to begin dry hopping the Vandal Eyes I brewed on Sunday. I've been watching Grainfather videos for about 3 days now, so I am itching to begin all-grain at last with such a compact system. Since the GF broke up with me on Tuesday, that will free up all kinds of money. :stuck_out_tongue: I should be ready to order one next month or so, but in the meantime I've ordered one of these  because I want to and I need a second fermentor. I'm excited about trying to brew a lager. I've also ordered a SN Torpedo Clone kit for AIH, but that will come next week.

    Drain my bank account, baby!

I'm actually out of fermenters and out of kegs. I'll be stocking up on grains soon and that should keep the gears turning.

Off on vacation for a few so going to try and squeeze in a couple brews, a pumpkin ale tomorrow and then a Wookey Jack clone. Going to be cloudy and cooler here in the ATL so looking forward to turning on Collage game day and firing up the kettle.

Yeah good call on saving that tree. Those little guys are delicious. I probably ate half a dozen that first day before freezing the rest.

More similar that you think even. I'll be using some wheat DME in my pale ale.

I dried out about 30 lbs of blackberries.I'm hoping I can use them in a small batch of something, maybe a strong ale or stout. Not sure, never tried dry fruit before. Guess this weekend i'll try!
