Imagine all the voided tickets there will be at each session. "Oh wait, I thought you voided the other seven sets of tickets that I purchased!"

 

Didn't get the session I originally wanted but am still appreciative to be able to participate at all. Note to self: use Google Chrome first next time.

 

Just got one for Friday night. I forgot they went onsale today until I went on FB and saw the post about site issues. None for me!

 

What did you get? Due to this clusterfuck I somehow ended up with 4 tickets to the Saturday 6-10 session and 2 to the Saturday 1-5 session. I'd like to swap the 2 1-5 for 2 6-10. Any interest?

Wanting to buy four tickets - looks like I somehow got 25. And some were in different sessions than I asked for.

Before anyone asks for the other 21 tickets - I have emailed them at [email protected], like they are asking us to do, and told them I only want four. Got a fraud notice email from Discover Card because of this.

 

My friend said he got some at 12:15

If people got say four tickets, and you only want two of them, is the right thing to do just email them and tell them which tickets you want voided? How have people been going about that?

 

If you thought the ticketing experience was a clusterf*ck, just wait till you get to the actual event.

This is nothing compared to the real ale festival they used to do at Finkl and Sons and the night of the living ales when it was in Goose Island's loading dock.

 

Somehow I missed that they were going on sale today. I figured it out at 1:30 EST and purchased 4 with no problems. I guess I was fortunate to miss all of the earlier drama.

 

Confirmed, if you're not logged in with an account that has already purchased 4 tickets - there are still tickets available right now.

 

I completely blanked these were on sale today. I figured they would be sold out already. Nope logged on, got 2 tickets to Saturday no issues.

 

I only went last year (which, from what I've heard, was more spacious than other years), but it was definitely not as bad as I thought it would be (at least Friday night). Goose Island's 26th anniversary party was the worst (space-wise) event I've been to; almost no room to move anywhere in the entire place, and getting the big beers was chaos.

The nice thing with FoBAB is that there are large patches of space away from the tables where you can drink in peace, and everyone is too busy running around/waiting in line for whales to sample all the amazing stuff from the little guys.

 

I think they are re-issuing new tickets. Sold out earlier today, I was about get 1 ticket to the 1-5 pm session a few minutes ago. Still looking for one more for a friend.

Edit: nevermind - I signed out and signed in and was able to get another ticket.

 

Since tix are transferable, does anyone know if there is a way to change the name on the ticket, or do you just have to show up with the person who bought them? Got double charged and a friend got shut out so im trying to transfer them to him
