How many bottles left? I figured there'd be a lull around 2-3. I imagine there will be a second surge at the regular opening time.

 

Line is maybe 10 deep as of 2:30

 

Any clue on how many bottles are left at this point?

 

I'd be surprised if there's more than 400 left at this point.

No it's not sold out. I got there at 2, 20 minutes later I was driving away with my Fen Tao and Sherry Atrial, and that included parking and walking time. I still don't understand why people have to be in line when they open.

 

You should probably stop saying this. It's not true.

 

There's currently no line and 500 bottles remain. We timed start to finish at the height to the early rush and it was 65 minutes. No apology from us this time around. - Jeff

I was about 10 yards behind you.

I arrived at about 11:40. (and got on the end of the line) I had my bottle by 1:10. My guess is less than half sold by 1 pm.

 

I came at Noonish, and it was hot no doubt, but I thought the line moved pretty quickly. And I didn't mind the muleage at all. Everyone was cordial, and the beer is tasty

 

Damn I wish I lived in TX right now.....

 

Wait... No line? It's too easy to get now. #NotAWhale.

Yeah. I obviously overestimated the amount of people that were in line. Sure looked like there were at least a couple hundred ahead of me before opening.

 

Two weeks in a row, I've floated possible criticisms of the way JK was handling lines.

Twice I've been wrong in hindsight. I'm done doubting the method. Another great job by the JK staff!

Got the beer. Now, when to drink it....

 

Dammit. I was ready to write this one off. Now there's a 50/50 shot when I get there at 8 ...at least there will be Fen Tao!!!

 

So many times I thought about busting on your negativity. But this kind of reflection and change in sentiment is what I appreciate and makes me glad I kept my mouth shut- cheers dude, no doubt, well run show today!

 

Sorry Jeff, I usually make a point of not posting if I'm worked up about something and I need to remind myself not to get worked up in the first place(it's just beer).

 

No need to apologize. Today was kind of weird in that there was a huge initial push then nothing in terms of the line.

 

How's the line now?
