I was in Portsmouth, NH on Friday and went to Gary's Beverages to pick up some stuff that I can't get in Maine. Here's what I came home with:

 

Sounds fishy.

 

Not to mention the brown bottle.

 

I think that is a 500ml bottle, like the ones Hill Farmstead uses for some of their beers.

 

Exactly, a kind of bottle I've never seen Cantillon use.

 

Double Citra is fan-freakin-tastic!! Not to mention Heady, Double Sun, What is Enlightenment, and Edward.

 

I'm going to have to go out on a limb and say that is a counterfeit Fou'Foune. Cantillon has never used those style/color bottles and always use corks. I'd be asking danedelman about that...

 

Or he had a keg or growler of fou foune and used an empty bottle and slapped a label so he could identify it. Ive done this before with brute i sent a hand bottle as an extra except i wrote all over it in silver sharpie lol. If that was part of the agreed trade then i would say hold up the red flag but as an extra thats badass..

That Voodoo Doughnut sticks out like a sore thumb... in more ways than one.

 

It's the second time I've had it and I enjoyed it again. Seemed to get more bacon this time!

Went to pick up my Blauw and Oreo (RIP) and Drewba were kind enough to "give" (read unload) me the other beers. Can't wait to have year old Woodchuck pumpkin cider and old IPA/DIPA's!!!

The girlfriend had to go to South Bend for an overnight work trip Friday, so I tagged along and talked her into hopping across the border to Michigan. We did a fair amount of winery hopping, but also stopped at a little hole in the wall to pick up these:



That's 6x each: Nicie Spicie; Spruce Pilsner; Pandemonium; and Soft Parade.
Plus, a 4x of Saugatuck Neopolitan Milk Stout.

Edit: Oh, also came away with a bottle of Tabor Hill Grand Mark. Not beer, but that stuff is fantastic.

 

Nah, look at it next to the Mad Elf 12oz. That bottle is exactly like the ones Brew Dog bottle with. Maybe Mikeller too.

 

Ryan, you SOB, you have 3? I grabbed the last 2 and threw one in as an extra to a NYer. You best be bringing the other 2 to our 3L Consecration Beer Pong event...

 

Over the span of like 2 weeks.

Nothing special really but i was pretty dang happy to find those 2 bottles of Bane
