I take that back, this batch is Cafe Corazon again. The previous one was Slow Train. So maybe it's just the cocoa nibs that are different, or something else in the process? Either way, it's still delicious.

It's too bad they don't distribute farther south than Bako. Out of curiosity, does anyone on here make semi-regular trips between Fresno and OC?

    In my greedy perfect world their ipa list would be as follows;
DDH, tdh nelson and simcoe (year round god damn it), and batch 250 or batch 2 of Tecumseh (boy did batch 250 really get the party started before I knew what big IPAs were, don't ever drink 5 or 6 bombers of that).

Sherman isn't needed. Neither is any tdh not named nelson or simcoe if that means I get less Nelson and simcoe.

If you are interested, trade for it. Its so close that shipping is cheap. I get a good size box to SD for 16-18$ shipping. Plus almost anyone up here would love to get Alpine, Noble, Beechwood etc

I think Sherman is "needed" just because it's the base for all of the others. Doesn't make much sense to have DDH or TDH Sherman when there is no Sherman. Unless they want to rename DDH, I suppose.

Of course, I have no idea what their hop contracts look like, but I wouldn't hold my breath for TDH Nelson, and certainly not as a year-round. With the supply constricting, and breweries like Green Flash and Alpine having trouble sourcing it, I don't see T-S having the clout to do so more than occasionally.

I would like to see a true single hop series, in the vein of Noble's Showers, though. TDH is an interesting experimental series, but not the ideal showcase for every given hop.

Yep, you can trade for all the Tioga you can handle with those. I and others would line up to send it to you.

Ya after reading about the Nelson hop shortage, I doubt I'll ever see tdh nelson again. Pains me to say. Guess I'll have to drink Alpine, which was really the only Nelson beer I've had that was better.

But damn it, I'll take tdh-simcoe year round!

I'm only half serious about Gen Sherman. I'm completely serious about the bombers tho. It isn't needed. They just sit on shelves. The 6/12pks are a good "grocery store" beer, sitting next to stone and lagunitas. I still see people drink the 12oz bottles.

Does that include Piece of Cake, Rush Hour and whatnot?

Sure, when they're released. Rush Hour won't be bottled until November. Cake will be at that time too, and may or may not be made in between. I already burned through my bottles from the last release.

To echo what @IpaBeerDrinkers said. trading instate is easy. Shipping is cheap and the box usually arrives before the tracking number even registers. Not kidding. Done a few Ca trades and that's literally what happens.

I think most people have or at least should have drank theirs by now. If theres still one around they may not taste right. These are both beers that need to be drank fresh. The ones I sat on didnt hold their flavors well. The barrel aged ones did hold up well. The best of the bunch being BA Midnight lightning. Was super surprised at how good that was considering regular Midnight lightning was so nasty.

Anyone been to Sequoia brewing at Champlain recently? They have Rush hour on tap and was wondering how it tastes

Because they are milk stouts, and it generally isnt advisable to age milk stouts.

I actually like midnight lightening. But my stout palate is undeveloped as I've only tried about 12-15 stouts

As hot as it is today, all you guys need a Cucumbier. Perfect after today's pergatory weather. My Gatorade in my lunch pail might get replaced with this

Send me a case!!! That was a great beer! Clean, crisp, and refreshing. Before trying it, I was a bit skeptical about the cucumber getting in the way of the Pilsner malts and Saaz hops, but it complemented them perfectly. Top 10 beer of 2015 for me. Great job @thebeerprophet & Tioga-Sequoia

I love Cucumbier. It's been a steady stream of that and XPA all summer. Although, as nasty as the air is today, Smoke Chaser feels appropriate...

Me too. Did my recycling last week.... I won't say the amount at expense of being labeled a drunk....but let's just say of Xpa bombers, I was in the neighborhood of 20

Currently marinating a tri tip in Joaquin Murrieta chili lager. I'll report back with my findings lol

So Murrieta definitely works as a marinade. Impressed everyone who ate it. Chili taste shined thru

Tdh Simcoe is back! My favorite beer they've ever done. Looks like there is a pineapple IPA as well coming out
