Anyone else want a six pack of this go to rotating ipa at 102 IBUS. The bomber is just right i know and the price has stayed low for many years but wouldnt it be nice to rotate this one in your IPA selections?
You made me think they already did.. fuck it they should just do it in 16oz cans like everyone else. That would be hell of a disk golfing beer that "looks like an engry drink"
never going to happen http://www.beerpulse.com/2012/04/la...-last-brewery-in-the-us-to-use-aluminum-cans/
Sorry if you didn't catch the sarcasm in my last comment. Yeah I remember talking to a rep at one of the last beer tastings i went to and he mentioned how lagunitas feels about canning. Im actually surprised on how many other breweries have been jumping on the band wagon lately with canning everything. I am a fan of smaller formats on big beers though.
He said that 3 years ago... Here's one from 2 years ago: http://beerpulse.com/2013/04/no-joke-lagunitas-brewing-considering-canning-line-for-chicago-brewery/
And thats saying it comes in like a four or six pack. That makes for single bottle selling situations though ether way. From what I understand though just finding out the other day, its unethical to sell the bottles in single format at the store. One of my local beer rep's told me to report the liquor stores that are doing so that they can take action on them for price gauging.
With all that room it is possible to see a canning line, but i don't see it happening. That brewery is still half empty though and has room for all kinds of stuff. I think they should start a barrel aging program and release more beers like high west-fied imho.
I'm honestly fine with it being in bombers costing 4-5$ lagunitas has Maximus, sucks and the sumpin line of excellent dipas. I feel I can find a fresher bottle of HS than 6 packs
As long as Sucks is 6 pack format, it will be more desirable than Stoopid. Otherwise I would split the purchases...vs something else
