Unfortunately, I have no way to try it before hand since I live in Oklahoma. Thanks for the info though.

Nvm, I'm dumb, I thought you were planning a trip for some reason. I would try and stick to bottles if you want to be certain and just get what's available. Good luck!

In CA, you can only get growler fills from breweries.

Those prices are insane. Crappy bombers here are 2x that.

Of course they do, they own it. Without the cash infusion do you really think the new pub exists ? NO. Though I assume they want to stay true to some of the original dishes that we all loved up the street they should and will be able to tinker with the menu to satisfy their business model.

    Its all good.

    Cheers…...

Yeah the straight from the brewery prices are pretty nuts.

Indeed. I visited Alpine last year. Loved it there. Would love some more Nelson and Pure Hoppiness

Was my growler of Hoppy Birthday that I just picked up from Alpine actually brewed at Green Flash? I know the about the bottles, but what about kegs @ Alpine?

Send an email and ask, but make sure you pour a bit and taste it first. You'll need to provide details regarding color, aroma, and taste - and then they will tell you who brewed it. Bonus is that after you taste the beer in an effort to write your email inquiring about where it was brewed, if you enjoyed the taster you can finish the growler while you wait for a response! Win-win!

My guess is Green Flash. I could be wrong, but it was disappointing.

I heard the "ebony & ivory" name from the day bartender. Maybe it has a few names...both names work great.

Just came back from a weekend trip in Ensenada Mexico. Stopped by Wendlant Brewing Co brew pub and was impressed with an Alpine + Pizza Port + Wendtlandt collaboration Mosquito Pale Ale. From my discussion chatting with each bartender alpine went to Mexico to brew the beer? Anyhow brought back a couple growlers , curious if anyone has any info on the collaboration brew?

Just picked up 6 this past weekend. Incredible beer. Before I took a sip I had forgot how good it was and was preparing to be underwhelmed. Instead I was blown away once again.
