forgot to ask be4. to those from last yr, how much sells out by the end of vip time?

 

I think it depends how much each brewery ends up bringing. Pretty sure most of the Plan Bee drafts didn't last long past VIP session. The Bruery only brought like a case of Befuddlement last year, so that went quick. CL table was flowing til the end though. Was able to crush Flaming Fury up to last call. With Plan Bee brining two pretty desirable drafts this year as well, I would guess they wouldn't last too long past VIP, if at all. Most things should still be flowing, but once again, it all depends on how much the brewery brings.

 

appreciate the quick detailed response. few my friends eyeing going. if they bail, may get vip cuz I've seen a lot of singles. I was just hoping for all our sake it wasn't everything great or a lot. I was expecting at least a few. and on the bright side, I went to the amour release so I'm okay on that part. though I'll definitely drink it for a few if it's there haha. cheers.

We are coming down and staying at La Quinta if there is any shares going on I would love to join. We just popped over to Trillium to get some bottles to bring down and of course I have a fair selection of Hilll Farmstead, Oxbow and Allagash we could be talked into bringing.

 

Yeah my group did a pretty decent share after at the LA Quinta. Would expect something similar this year.

 

Me and my group of 5 are staying at the La Quinta as well and plan to share.

Question for the group though:

For said share, do you plan to bring mainly sours and some other styles, or mainly other styles since we will have already been drinking sours all day prior?

 

Do many booths offer to go sales? If so, anyone recall who was offering bottles last year?

 

the other major question is where would the local pizza place be that delivers if we are all planning to keep drinking.
and yes pointers on styles that go down well would be appreciated so I can pack a box (or two tonight )

 

Pizza/Chinese/whatever is just a Yelp/google away.

For beers, I'll probably heavily over pack, but will probably bring a case consisting of 1/2 sours/saisons and the rest stouts/IPA's

 

There were only two bottle sales last year, Plan Bee and Captain Lawrence. Neither will have bottles for sale tomorrow as of right now. I wouldn't expect any bottles to be for sale, except for the bottles that CL sells everyday in their tasting room.

I'll be in VIP this year along with my lady. Since her parents live in Stamford and because I didn't read this thread until now, I didn't pack any bottles with me

I will however be wearing my spiffy blue Casa Agria shirt. Because, you know...sours and whatnot.

 

i live in the area so i wont be staying at the La Quinta, but i am always up to bringing some bottles to share. when are you planning to have this share?
