How much do you spend each week on beer?

It varies. In the summer I drink more lagers and I usually buy cases. So while I might spend $40 on a case, the next week or so might be $0 while I work through said case.
In the colder months I drink less quantity wise but I buy more singles and bombers of stouts and barrel aged brews which are pricey so I can be anywhere from $30-$50 a week.

 

Let's just say that I have a number in mind and I haven't hit it yet.

 

50-75 on average. A case of new beer on average plus the obligatory bottle of wine or pumpkin sixer for She Who Must Be Obeyed - thats right around 50-75

 

I usually buy a case of something decent every 2 weeks on payday, and occasionally a six pack to supplement. That seems like plenty.

 

I dont think thats too out of the norm, its a relative to how much you make and what hobbies you are in to I guess

 

If my wife sees this I'll be in hot water...

4-6 Tree House beers/week is my norm....so $15-25 range.

 

Depends on what shop I go to, and if I'm alone when I go there. I find myself splurging far more when "that certain someone" is not there to reign in my enthusiasm. But at least $40 or $50.

 

I recently put myself on a self imposed beer budget. $40 per month......already went over the first month, we will see what happens in September. It's November and December (stout season) that I'm worried about.

 

Being in college, I need to observe limits for economic reasons. I try to keep it in the $25~$50 per week range.

There are some fantastic breweries that make fantastic, expensive beers, but there are also some fantastic breweries that make arguably just-as-enjoyable beers for an incredibly more reasonable bargain, considering volume (and sometimes ABV) per buck.

Know yer beer and shop smart, I say...

 

On average, I would venture a guess that I spend $25 a month in an active month (between both bottles and at the pub). I don't spend a lot (thankfully) partly due to having a cellar with about 10 or so bombers still waiting to be opened, so that tempers my habit; and partly because I just don't drink as often any more, so I don't buy a lot unless it is something that can be put in the cellar.

This week, however, has been an exception - spent $50 picking up a couple of 4 & 6pks to take to a bachelor party at the lake this weekend. Should be a good time with good friends sharing good beers.

 

25-50 on average, but it depends on special releases and such.

 

same...my cellar has grown quite a bit over the year and i've made a conscious effort to spend less and drink more of my cellared stuff, but that hasn't gone exactly as planned

I try to keep it to a monthly trip so as not to piss off my wife, too much.
But I usually try to spend no more than $50 when I do go.
