Unless you like paying too much for your beer, you'll want to head to Holiday as @JLG193 said. The main beer stores in Troy are pretty gougey. Zetouna isn't too far, though, and is pretty decent.
Thanks guys, I'll definitely check out Holiday Market. Trying to get some stuff to tailgate the Michigan game tomorrow. Just grabbed a 64oz growler of DRIPA from Kuhnhenn and brought some Last Snow from FL.
It has beena few years and I forget the name but there used to be a good craft beer store on Rochester Road just south of M-59 on the east side of the road. There is Red Wagon just north of M-59 on the west side of the road. Both can be pricey but I have found some left over gems at both. Both are also pretty close to where you are staying
That would be Zetouna's on the south side of M-59, Moshea. GREAT place and friendly owner. Stop in and say hi.
Great, I see that it was mentioned by name further up the thread . I don't get to M-59 and Rochester very often, but i try to stop there each time I do Cheers
Yes, he is great. Best shop around. Give Zetouna your business and don't go to Red Wagon or Manny's Liquor. Their prices suck compared to Zetouna. $13 KBS this year. $25 Hopslam. $4-5 Planet series singles. $6 Double Crooked Tree. I could go on and on. Stop gouging. Again, don't waste your money, go to Zetouna. Maybe these other places will eventually get a clue.
While I agree that Zetouna doesn't gouge like Manny's, it is a regulars place. You aren't getting anything special there without being a regular. I stopped shopping there because of that.
