    Looks like Scarlet Betta is now confirmed for Monday too!

    Oh, I'd have no idea about that, haven't had ZD in a long time. Not surprising, though; citra is bordering on overused at this point. Based on the last time I had it on tap (last year, I think?), I'd still stick with my original assertion, though, even if I wasn't drinking a citra-only version.

    Neither is LK, it's mosaic and amarillo I thought.

    I think the comparison to ZD is simply that they are both local and flavorful "APAs" boarding on IPAs. Regardless, I just picked up some ZD for first time in a long time so I can see if my memory has failed me or not in my opinion that I prefer LK.

    I'm not sure I'm buying one word of this. Proof?

    I agree with the comparison (have made it myself). On the top of LK being hopped with amarillo, that's interesting, as I'd never heard that (I see that a couple other sites claim it).

    @NOTpipeworks any confirmation either way?

    I was going by what Pdub posted on their site for the "beta" release of LK on draft back in January. Recipe could have been changed for canned release.

    Meant to say this earlier but I had Lizard King the other day and it is legit Mosaic Zombie Dust. So good.

    I so agree with you!

    Just finished a bomber and about to split 2nd with my wife. Not bad but its no crimson snapper. I'm not one for beer with fruit flavor added...I rather it be the citrus or tropical goodness from the hops alone. With that said, its a good IIPA with very distinct raspberry flavor. Expect anything less from pdub tho?

    I think Scarlet Betta is solid. Just the right amount of raspberry to work with the rest of the beer. Winner in my book.

    The scralet betta is the first "fish" beer that i'm not a fan of. Way too much raspberry, and it doesnt mix with the hop flavor very well.

    Had one last night, and going to carry on with my current bomber prohibition. Was a bit of a letdown and had some astringency that I wasn't a fan of. Should have bought a 4 pack of Lizard King instead.

    Felt the same way. The Pipeworks fish beers are the only IPA i'll buy in a bomber, as I think it's dumb to spend $10 on a bottle when NvU or even 90-Min is a much better value and, and if not better or as good, pretty darn close.

    The Grouper beers from Pipeworks have all been fantastic though, and the success of the blueberry one gave me faith the raspberry would be good also.

    Hop Stoopid, my friend. $4.49 for a delicious DIPA.
