Fat Squirrel been listed like that the past few years but has still come out in early October. It was listed as "already being brewed" in the beer vote along with Staghorn a few months back.

Anyone notice a difference in the new pie lust recipe?

FWIW - I asked an employee working in the brewery what was on tap for the next few months, all he would tell me was Pumpkin Pie Lust AND drumroll... Fat Squirrel is making its return this year. Previous poster who said October is likely right since it isn't out this month.

Fat Squirrel for October, November, December into next year when Cabin Fever returns sounds about right. Seems like they went light on the seasonals this year. Hopefully they throw another one into the mix with Fat Squirrel next month like Hometown Blonde. There is only so much Oktoberfest and Pumpkin Pie Lust one can drink.

How about the mythical bourbon barrel kriek?

I assumed that what we all thought was Bourbon Barrel Kriek was actually Bramble Berry Bourbon Barrel. Certainly don't know for sure though.

You know what they say about assuming. Also I get ZERO Cherry from Bramble Berry.

I agree. A fruited BB Sour is most likely what was assumed to be the BB Kriek. Instead of cherries, they went with Bramble Berry (probably black berries, raspberries etc.)

I'm sure this is a long shot, but does anyone know if there is any Enigma hanging around the GB/Door County area (or I guess anywhere between GB/Door County and Minneapolis)?

Yeah- Dan had mentioned that Deb came up with a new idea for fruit at some point last spring. It's likely that they were headed down the BB Kriek road but decided to turn the sour brown into Bramble Berry instead.

Potentially stupid question, but I was up in Wisco this weekend, looked around and couldnt find any Scream bottled later than June... is it a seasonal and that was the last bottling date for the year? Or just bad luck?

Id love to see one more batch but probably too much of it still on the shelves. It holds up well for at least 3 months.
