Parabola is a March release every year. I've been building my collection recently and have got multiples of several years going back to '12... Holding onto one set for a 5 year vert (when I get '16... Or find a reasonable swap for an '11) but will probably see my way to including one or two of my duplicates in a BIF box at some point. Definitely my favorite non-whale BA Stout. Maybe our potential Winter Classic #handshake should involve cracking open a bottle... Or at least passing along one for you to take home!

So tonight I finally got around to truly honoring a couple of great local friends for getting married this summer. Sure, a gift card goes a long ways towards candles and lace doyleys but beer solves all! Congrats to @sj3324 and @bvdubn on getting married this summer. They introduced me to beer in a way that I wouldn't have appreciated so without them there is no me in this Locals group. Cheers!

Damn I love this style--plenty of cinnamon (not quite Abraxas level, but close), heat (not quite Cake hot, but it's certainly present on the back end), and a solid base (not quite Huna silky, but close...). This beer is a solid mix of everything that I think makes the others great! Thanks Nick! This is a perfect pick-me-up as I try to put together a presentation on the many faces of Ben Franklin and his contributions to American Cultural Rhetoric...

 

Did they marry each other? I'm confused. Also, awesome lineup.... that Side Project!

 

I forget how much I hate M-F people until I see this... Why aren't there any major bottle shares/releases on Mondays?

Eh, my use of the English language may be lacking but you met them both so no they didn't marry each other (not that there's anything wrong with that!). I missed Seth's wedding in Kansas but made Brenton's wedding locally. Beer > candles

 

Some folks, ok most folks here really let us down. I was just tagged on FB shotgunning a beer on Sunday. My dad liked the picture so I promised to teach him how to shotgun an O'Douls. He's excited to expand his horizons. Some here could learn!

 

Legend has it... someone once shotgunned a crowler of Sunny Side Up.
