Am I missing the go-to affordable sixer of a decent saison? Why don't one of our quality large-scale craft brewers put one out? Sierra Nevada, New Belgium, Deschutes, etc - I'm looking at you.

Due thanks to Sofie and Tank 7, but I'm still looking for an $8 sixer. These ingredients aren't expensive.

SNBC has their Ovilla Saison in 4 packs, Ithaca brews a Saison in six packs I believe. I agree though give me some nice affordable saisons for every day drinking.

Hilliard's in Seattle has 4-packs of their Saison in 16 oz cans for $8-9.

How much is Tank 7? When I left KC a few years ago all of boulevard's 6-packs where $7.99.

Lift Bridge Farm Girl here. I'm sure some of the stores in the area ship. It's pretty solid for a domestic saison. Also, Boulevard Tank 7 shouldn't be hard to get your hands on.

About $10 a 4-pack in Boston, still a decent deal.

Thanks. $2.50 a beer isn't bad for a Saison. Boulevard just came to Virginia, albeit in a different part of the state, so I'll look for that when I get to Northern Virginia again.

I'll second Great Divide Colette. It's a pretty solid beer in a 6er for only about $1 more than four packs of Hennepin, and usually the same price as Tank 7. Hennepin is my personal favorite. Ithaca's saison comes in 6ers, too, and it's pretty good.

New Holland Golden Cap hovers around the $9-10 range for a sixer these days. Lately it seems everything's taken a jump to 8.99 or more.

Sierra Nevada Saison 4 pack is not exactly something you can find at your local store. In fact I have yet to see that beer at a store ANYWHERE besides the brewery, and I live in the Bay Area lol.

Aside from the standards of Sofie, Tank 7, Hennepin, you really have to pay up to play up with saisons.

Honestly, i've been buying a lot of Rayon Vert more then anything else lately. It's not a saison, but it hits the spots i want itched for cheap.

    Dupont in Belgium as about 3 euros, so figure 750ml = 25.3605 oz, 3 euros is about 1.2403 X 3 = 3.72
    or .14668 cents an oz times a six pack is 72oz * .14668 cents = $10.56 a six pack.

So if the best is near 11 a sixer, figure the Americans will charge 20 LOL

If my math is right, its early.

In Kentucky we have Bluegrass Brewing Saison for $8.99. It's ok, kind of saison light. A nice change-up from other styles in the same price range.

Ithaca Groun Break comes in sixers and I think it's pretty tasty. I'm not sure if you get it where you're at.

Every local brewery down here has put out a Saison/Farmhouse, but most are draft only. its the new summer seasonal. and the new fad. Im hoping next summer, the fad is Munich Helles Lagers.

    Great Divide Colette (spring seasonal)
New Holland Golden Cap (spring-summer seasonal)
    Flying Dog Wildeman (year round)

My personal favorite is Surly Cynicale, which comes in a 4 pack of 16oz cans.
