    Hey BA folks. We at Fonta Flora Brewery are very excited to host another bottle release on Saturday, September 19th! We are releasing THREE different sour ales to the public and will kick off at 10am. Live music and a plethora of craft suds will be flowin' from our taps. Stay tuned for a more detailed lineup of beers for the day but you can also expect to sample a limited amount of future bottle release beer. All three bottles are green 750ml. VERY LIMITED QUANTITY. Counts and limits will be posted soon. Here are the beers to be released.

    Can't wait for this release! I had a blast at the Bloom/Wither release with the Urban Monk variations.

    @HopBeard Can we bring those Urban Monk swing tops back to the brewery any time for other fills? Thanks!

    Planning on trying to make this - will be my first visit to Fonta Flora. For those who have been before, any need to get there early?

    Very bummed that I'll be in Roanoke for a wedding. Otherwise I'd definitely join. Now I'm worried about missing out on some great beers...

    @jwillbowen, you can certainly bring back those Urban Monk swing top growlers for a fresh fill. I love seeing those being utilized! We will have a good selection of beers available for growler fills the day of the bottle release. Cheers!

    Any updates on this? My wife and I were thinking about coming up for it, but might rather stay home if we're going to get completely shut out if we show up at 9:30. All the beers sound great.

    Yeah, wondering what the limits are gonna be on these. We're coming either way, but we are leaving from Raleigh that morning so hopefully we don't get shut out on Jitterbug.

    Weather is supposed to be glorious this weekend, so it should make for a beautiful morning drive across the old north state.

    Bottle sharing at these events, yay or nay?

    @HopBeard

    I have a few questions. Have these all sold out day of? Any chance of picking some up when passing through town on Sunday? Will these be available on tap to try at the taproom if bottles are sold out? I'm fell like I'm gonna need some Rhythm Rug in my life. Cheers!!

    @CavemanRamblin

    As much as I would love to see a bottle share during the waiting period, i have a feeling that Morganton's finest would take issue with that. I hope that isn't too much of a buzzkill. We will have plenty yummy things flowing from the taps :slight_smile:

    @abb610

    As of now, we have not started doing online pre-sale for any of our bottle releases. All of the bottles during the release are first come first serve. This may change for future bottle releases depending on the turnout on Saturday. Again, here are the counts for the release:

    Jitterbug: 180 bottles. $25/750ml bottle. 2 bottle limit.

    Rhythm Rug: 264 bottles. $20/750ml bottle. 4 bottle limit.

    Shopping Spree: 360 bottles. $15/750ml bottle. 6 bottle limit.

    I highly doubt any of these beers will be available after Saturday. Our releases have gone pretty well in the past and we typically sell out. Given this release is a super low count, we expect to sell out on Saturday. With that, we have a limited amount of both Rhythm Rug and Jitterbug available to enjoy on draught at the pub. Again, this will also probably sell out on Saturday.

    In addition, we will have a live DJ spinning some old school hip-hop, with an obvious selection of ATCQ. We will also be providing free Dynamite Roasting coffee, brewed by Morganton's Grind Cafe for the folks who get here early. Please keep asking questions if you still have 'em. We are really looking forward to Saturday!

    One more thing, we will have a register at the bottle sale area. You no longer have to go to the bar and purchase tickets for the bottles if you need to pay with a credit card. Hopefully this will make things easier and it avoids folks losing their spot in line. Cheers!
