@PassMeAZima said I had a small box of extras, today a box marked Vinegar BBQ Sauce arrived:

I don't think I could have put together a better 6 pack. I love me some Jackie Os, and the rest speak for themselves, actually if all future boxes from the locals are full of jackie O and westbrook gose, Ill be a happy man.

So a little while back, @jawas mentioned that a buddy of his had a megawant of PtE and asked if anyone had any they could spare. Simple enough, as it comes through CO once a month or so. A little tomfoolery from the a very particular asstwat at his local FedEx warehouse ensured it was most definitely not #lehighfresh by the time it arrived via UPS.

Then, with little to no warning, and after expressly saying no return fire, Rob decides to escalate this from a small regional conflagration to out-and-out warfare. This shit was waiting on my porch today when I got home from picking the kid up from school...

I literally threw a paper airplane at this guy and he scrambles the entire 119th Fighter Squadron. The very definition of "Well, that escalated quickly"

    Let's see here...
    - SMS: PERMAwant
    - Boat: I have an unhealthy obsession with this beer. If it were available here, I would literally always have 8 of them on deck in my fridge.
    - Coconut Brittle: My wife is already eyeing this vigorously. I give 50/50 odds of it surviving the night.
    - Cape May Glass--I love this style, perfect IPA glass!
    - Troegenator: Looks fantastic!
    - Hopback Amber: Guess what's going in that Cape May glass?
    - Loon Gueuze and Kriek: We are having a private zwanze day on Saturday in lieu of driving up to Denver at 4AM. These just got added to the list, your timing could not have been more perfect! Watch my untapp'd on Saturday around 1PM MST if you dare!
    - Cape May Forgotten Boardwalk: Lacto and Coconut...I'm so deliciously confused by this. Can't WAIT to taste it!
    - 4Beans: I've heard really really good things and have never had a chance to try. Don't know how long I'll be able to wait on this one.

Word to the wise...if you plan to send Rob anything, do it from an anonymous address. Rules of engagement mean nothing to him. He lacks any sense of diplomacy and tact; rather pursuing the escalation of force and widening of the conflict. Now I have to go work on rebuilding my air defenses and consider the appropriate response.

    Please clarify.

I see a can of Forgotten Boardwalk Funnel Cake. It's neither lacto nor coconut, though.

Aha! Went back and read: "Ale brewed with Lactose and Vanilla Beans" -- while I was infinitely curious about the former interpretation, this sounds much more delectable! Sorry for the confusion @jawas -- I will enjoy this soon as it sounds like a delicious State Fair snack :grinning:

blackmail would have been part of the game at that point. Take your happy ass into the back and get me 2 bottles, or I tell the manager. I have no problem with stores giving a portion of the case to employees to buy, but that was not cool.

You are on top of my list of things to do when I get home. I will find the chain for you, confidence. But first, I haven't been to my local bottle shop in 2 weeks, I'm having withdrawals and got to stop tonight. Plus, my local seven target may benefit!

You better grab some of that brittle before your wife does. Once she tries a piece it will be crushed. That is some good stuff.

Agreed, for one it's the store's call, not the dickwad shelf-stocking employee, secondly there's a wide difference beetween "some" and "all".
