Living in Canada, I mostly drink Belgian and German beer (and some local, but not too much).

From the last few threads I've read on here, it seems like a lot of American BAs drink very little imported beer. So, please respond to the poll!

Belgium and Netherlands (for their Trappist mostly) Its one of the few times I feel like i am paying to much for a beer but can not help my way around it!

By volume, I assume- it's hard to pin down exactly but 25-50% is a broad enough range to choose. It's probably right in the middle of that.

I try to keep it balanced between American Beer and Imported Beer. Sometimes I see some fresh Amber Ales on the shelf that screams "buy me". Then sometimes I see that German Lager screaming "**** Me my Friend"! So in total like @TongoRad said it's around 25-50%.

For me it is just barely 10% I would think. Probably gonna cut back on that quite a bit once Jeff O'Neil opens his new brewery near me haha.

Because of such easy access to Hill Farmstead, Oxbow. Treehouse and Trillium l
have drifted away from imports. I need to reverse this a bit and get back to some
favorites like Stille Nachte, avec le Von Boeux and la Fin du Monde.

The only international beers I drink at the moment are Belgians with the occasional German Kölsch or Lager. Not by choice necessarily but simply because there are far fewer international choices where I live.

I buy Blue moon for wife, and I rarely drink 1 anymore. I barely buy beer at all any more. American beer is mostly in this area is ipa and more ipa.

So I buy the few beers I cannot clone well. Orval, Rochefort, Westmall.

I got my dupont saison clone down well enough I stopped buying it. My Belgian wheat clone is decent also.

About 80% American. Because it's more accessible and has more variety.

I don't drink many imports, we have so many great American beers that I rarely see a reason to drink them. I do love Belgians but other than that it would be a very small number.

I drink 15-20% imported beer, approximately equally split between English (mostly Sam Smith's and Fullers), German (Weihenstephaner is hard to beat!) and Belgians (Chimay, St. Bernardus, Rochefort, etc.).

I estimate maybe 10-15% mostly consisting of Belgian and German when I feel like I'm in the mood for something different

I opted for 10-25% but closer to 10 than 25. Living in Tucson there are times when a South of the Border beer just fits the occasion. Funny back in the 90's it was mainly Becks and Moosehead or probably 80% import.

I voted 25-50% because i've been drinking so many Warsteiner cans and Weihen originals this year. Last year was probably closer to 10%. 10 years ago was probably closer to 50%.

My import consumption is somewhere north of 50%, but probably not by much. The vast majority of my favorite styles of beer are German or Belgian, and it's tough to find better examples of German or Belgian styles than breweries that have been honing their craft for centuries.

My import percentage would probably be higher, were it not for a combination of import availability (where not everything a brewery like Ayinger releases makes it over here), known good US beers that have a spot in my regular drinking rotation, and my propensity to give new beers a chance to audition for said regular drinking rotation.

Less than 10%. I have been meaning to get more well-rounded with the Belgian beers, since I loved Rochefort 10 and Gulden Draak when I tried them, but there are just so many shiny objects at the bottle shop, I never seem to get to them.
