Planning a road trip from Florida to Maine with the focus being, of course breweries. It'll be 2 weeks or so, where should I go, hidden gems, beer releases to watch for... I know you guys can handle this task!

Passing through PA you have Victory in the Philly area, and Troegs in Hershey. 2 musts.

Yards in Philadelphia is also a must (we're a great beer town.) Duclaw in MD, Dogfish Head in DE, and give yourself some extra time to get through UPNY and New England.

If you are taking I-95 I would stop just before Baltimore at Heavy Seas (easy access from 95 on 695, about 1 mile away). A pint of Loose Cannon is definitely worth it.

Then after that go east on 695, pick up 97 south to 50 east (then 404 and 16, total time should be about 2 hours with no traffic, beware of the speed limit in the two small towns you drive through) and head towards Milton, Delaware home to Dogfish Head. This an EXCELLENT place, great atmosphere. 120 min IPA is a true masterpiece!

ps-I would also recommend Devil's Backbone in Lexington (for the Vienna Lager), but it would add quite a few hours to your trip. It is right off I-81 and there is a Holiday Inn and a Howard Johnson just up the road.

pps-Also, if you happen to steer off I-95 towards Ashville NC (again going West quite a bit, but then I-81 would be just up the road), then Wicked Weed in Ashville, Sierra Nevada in Mills River & Oskar Blues in Brevard!

Hit State Line Liquors in Maryland. I give you permission to add stores to your brewery trip.

Great selection! Just off I-95 near Delaware. I use to hit the place up quite a bit about a decade ago when locally I could not find any Sierra Nevada Hemisphere (Northern & Southern). Most local places now carry them (things change!).

Hershey is too far out of the way and if you're driving to Hershey you may as well go to Pizza Boy. Tired Hands is the place to go to in the Philly area. A hidden gem would be Crime and Punishment.

Really way too many places, some are going to be out of the way too depending on where you want to go..

the I-95 corridor also once you get North of DC is filled with a ridiculous amount of traffic and tolls... not fun...

Plenty to see and do with regard to beer and breweries in Richmond, but if time is an issue I would say as a minimum that Hardywood Park and The Answer Brewpub are can't misses. If you hit the Answer, than Me Kong and Strangeways aren't to far off (especially Me Kong - next door). Beyond that, Center of the Universe in Ashland is right off exit 89 in Ashland and makes a good "squeeze it in location if time allows.

On I-95 in Jacksonville, Bold City and Intuition are just 10 minutes off the Interstate in the Riverside neighborhood, and Aardwolf is 5 minutes off the Interstate on the south side of the river/San Marco neighborhood.

My suggestion for Pennsylvania would be to hit up Philly first, basically a mini beer mecca of the US. Then head north to Perkasie and go to Free Will, continue North to Fegley's in Bethlehem. From Bethlehem travel North up Rt 33 to Route 80 then right on the PA NJ border on the Delaware river, maybe 5 mins (if that) off Rt 80 is Shawnee Craft .... This place is a hidden gem of the region their beer is outstanding and not widely distributed outside the brewery itself. From there you can either continue on 80 towards New York City or head north through the Delaware Forest to Rt 84 that will take you through the Hudson Valley region of NY towards Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Hit Proclamation in Rhode Island. Small place, hours are limited right now, making some great D/IPA's. Make sure you swing through Boston to hit Trillium and then take the Mass Pike out to Treehouse in Monson.

Plan for a couple days in VT if your timeline allows. Between Second Fiddle, Hill Farmstead, Lost Nation chasing down cans of Heady, and hitting great bars like Mule Bar, Pro Pig, Three Penny Taproom, etc you'll need the time.

Do you guys even live in NJ? Carton is off 36 not 35, and Kane is on 35 but it runs North/South (south of Carton).
