Not even sure it's the name of the beer. I thought it was just the event for the Black Pale.

    Either way confusing.

I didnt even say I didnt agree with you. just seemed odd to come on with a negative blanket statement about their consistency.

Ah yes the best way to feel welcomed back into a community is to reintroduce yourself with a negative first post. Then be sarcastic in your second post.

    Welcome back to BA!

To be fair he started with "I love Other Half...", plus I don't think people need to earn the right to be critical. I love Other Half as well, but sometimes this thread can get a little mafiosi

Edit - if he came on with "don't know what you lot see in OH - f**king hate them", then I'd understand the sentiment a little more

Well "All Green Everything" was a play on the Lupe Fiasco song All Black Everything

Hmm I wonder if this might be an issue with the sanitizing spray jets that wash the cans on the line.

Yeah it's not the name of the beer. It's just the name of a cocktail made with the Black Ale. But definitely confusing at first:

    ALL BLACK EVERYTHING
Kraken Black Spiced Rum blended with Braven Black Pale Ale served in a pokal glass over ice with a brandied cherry

    ALL WHITE EVERYTHING
Ole Smoky Moonshine shaken with Lillet White served up with a float of Braven White IPA, garnished with an orange slice

    BUSHWICK MICHELADA
Spicy Colombian-style michelada served with Braven Bushwick Pilsner

Actually, I thought it was a reference to Trinidad James's "All Gold Everything." Hmm. Hadn't even heard of the Lupe song until you referenced it. I guess it's older than Trini's song, so who knows?

That's correct, Lupe's song references that, but given OH's fascination with hiphop and Lupe being a more modern reference, I thought OH was referencing him. It's a long way down, hah.

What's the deal with cans popping up all over? Is this a new plan from OH to send cans around the city?

Where did cans pop up? I haven't seen them, but I haven't been anywhere but Milk & Hops this week. This would be a great development.

Beermenus is a wonderful tool...Beer Street, Proletariat and Upright Brew House

Yea I saw Proletariat on beermenus, but not Upright Brew House because I only searched for Amarillo. Proletariat has been getting the can releases a lot lately though - seems like it's a regular thing for them. Didn't realize Upright Brew House was in the mix too. I'd hardly classify three places as "all over," but it's a good start. Maybe down the road some bottle shops will even get cans.

Yeah they have a dedicated tap for OH. Also helps that Anthony works there too.

Beer Street also had what I think was the first keg ever of Green Dianonds back in November 2013. Guessing you don't remember.

In that same braven blog post you quoted about the party they quote Jay-Z lyrics mentioning "all black everything", so there you go. Not confusing in its full context.

You're correct - like I said it was confusing at "first" until I found that blog post.

I think there's so little room in the back cooler that if cans arent sold out after a week they start to distribute them to some accounts to make space. distro only seems to happen with cans that have lasted a week or so i believe?
