2015 Surly Wet

    If they brewed it last week, it will be another couple weeks before its canned. Then likely another week or two for the distributor to do its thing and "distribute" the beer. Maybe on shelves around October 1st? Wonder if we will see it down here at all....

    Take it for what it is worth, but the store owner of a shop I go to heard Wet wont' be going to Iowa or Wisconsin from his rep.

    It has always been much more limited than other canned seasonals.

    I would also assume if it does make it out of state, Chicago would be the first as they have been a longer established account. Either way, hope you get to enjoy some Wet

    Confirmed per Twitter: Wet is getting distributed across their footprint, including Iowa!

    If it was brewed on the 9th, we are probably looking at at least another week or two before canning.

    Or in tradition of Surly beers, "when it is ready."

    Wet hop beers (and both IPA's and APA's) are fast to brew relative to other styles. My semi-educated guess is that it will be canned within a week from now.

    I did all the date checking for last year in this post above - 16 days to brew Wet, and another week to get cans in our grubby little hands. Vegas odds are setting the over/under for first can dates of September 24th and October 1st for first sip in public.
