Your Favorite Beer Drinking Game?

None. Never played beer drinking games (or any drinking games for that matter) in my 20s and such, let alone in my 50s.

Points=drinks, essentially (a drink is like a shot of beer). So if you make a 3 point roll, then you are doing 3 drinks. It's not something you play all night .

 

Agreed. It's the best game in the world.

 

So there are a TON of games on this thread I've never heard of........... can we start a thread where we introduce and explain the rules to unique games.

Not going to lie, me and my friends still play PLENTY of drinking games, love to check out new ones

Watch Ancient Aliens. Whenever the narrator says, " According to ancient astronaut theorist....." I drink.

With multiple players you can only drink if " ancient astronaut theorist" is the subject of the sentence.

If it was the object (e.g. .... believed by some ancient astronaut theorist." and a player drinks they incur penalties involving drinking much more rapidly than they might have otherwise. At some point you memorize the shows an it stops being interesting.

 

Another vote for these two. I only play when I am with my kids friends and with crap beer. Of course they sometimes insist on one of my home brews to do it with.

 

Cardinal Puff always ends the same way - with a pretty girl erupting all over everybody.

Its been awhile since I played many drinking games but probably stack-em/slap cup/boom/rage cage (I'm sure I am missing some other names for this game)

fuck your neighbor... aka rage cage... aka goucho ball (in ucsb) is pretty fun for bigger groups. You fill a bunch of red cups with some beer and arrange them in a group in the center of the table around the death cup for the loser. Then its kinda like the basketball game knockout but with ping pong balls. You bounce the ball into your empty cup (after you drink) and if the person behind you does it faster he/she 'fucks your shit' by stacking their cup in yours. The cup gets taller and taller (and therefore harder) and you pass it to the next guy and pull another beer from the center for your new empty. Heres where it gets good: If you make it on your first bounce, you can send your cup anywhere on the table. This leads inevitably to the 'rage cage' which is where you keep fucking the same persons shit over and over. Yea thats a fun one.

I also like minefield. Its where you spin a quarter and have to catch it between your fingers but only after you drink your 'wager' a portion of your drink which can be however big or small provided the avg is about 1/4 of the beer per drink. If you fail, you wager again and go til you make it, or until you fail 3 times which usually means you drink something harder. As you finish beers, you keep the empty cans and they become your weapons. You can slam the empty over someone else spinning quarter forcing them to go again. The empty stays there on the table creating a hazard. Eventually there will be so many cans on the table there will be very little space for a good spin, and more and more drinking ensues. Thats a really fun one. And also I'm no good at it so it gets me fucked up.

And of course beer pong. That game holds a special place in my group of friends hearts. All in highschool, I barely played it in college... but we were pros. Each pair of us had a team name that struck fear into our competitors. Me and my friend Ryan were called the Wall, cuz you couldn't go through us. Then me and Jay were the Naked Samurais, because although we were both good for some reason when we played together we'd end up running naked miles a large proportion of the time... so thats the naked, and samurai cuz my name is Sam and Jay is asian.

 

Drunk Mario Kart 64...beer enhanced Mario Tennis was fun too. Anything Mario based is essentially very entertaining.

Beer pong (or Beirut for you purists) is my favorite. I also like beer die, or at least the version where you throw the dice across a long low table and try to catch it on the bounce before it hits the ground.
All of the card games are fun, and who can forget about mario kart and super smash bros while drinking.

I cant remember how to actually play minesweeper.....something to do with a quarter and a circular table and cans eventually become mines. Once you get enough mines shit hits the fan....
