what beers are near Anaheim that are must haves? I have a buddy going for a week and said he will get what ever I want, just need some ideas. Thanks in advance.
I only get to the Bruery periodically, although it's one of my favorite breweries around. (It's open until 10:00 p.m. I've discovered even during the week so I'm going to be going more often I suspect). For my money this place keeps getting better and better. I believe that there are several of the wonderful new releases available by the bottle, all worth trying. Equally important is the liquor store right in front of The Bruery - I think it's called Mr. K's or "something" K's. It looks like a dive and may well be one of the best stores in the state.
Check MRKSLIQUOR IG page. They get some good stuff. They might still have some Beachwood bottles available.
Noble Ale Works. They still had Tongue Tickle bottles yesterday and a boat load of great beers on for growler fills including Nelson Showers. The Shower series is incredible and they have ramped up bottle production big time for these and other IPAs/DIPAs. Cheers…….
I assume the growler spreadsheet is still correct in that Noble only fills blank and their own growlers? Can you tape over another brewery's logo?
While I don't know if any of the bottles they have right now are "must haves" Bottle Logic has some pretty tasty stuff. I think they're bottling the latest iteration of the Recursion DIPA and it's some good drinking. The Lagerithm is also a good, solid beer.
SAY WHAT?!?!?!?! I dont think I've ever heard anyone say that before. I honestly might like that beer better than FO...that being said, when I had the single barrel versions of FO, the buffalo trace version was by far better than DS.
