Probably 15 percent. It would be much higher if I found what I wanted fresh.

I'm one of those few who LOVE imports. Only good imports, mind you. Mostly German brews, a metric shit-ton of Hefeweizens, Schwarzbiers, things of that nature. Drinking a Köstritzer as we speak. Other than that, things like Zywiec and Einstök porters, whatever's interesting at the moment. Obviously I have an appreciation for nice Belgian brews and I absolutely adore Trappist beer.

I've been trying to catch up on the best domestic craft beer. As it stands, though, probably around 65-75% of my beer intake is imported. I blaspheme, don't murder me in my sleep.

Eh, you're just one of the ones who doesn't think 'beer' is spelled i-p-a .

I really need to get myself back into the Imports because they were the ones that first got me into good beer.

Us German lager lovers drink alike, huh? :stuck_out_tongue:

25-50% is what I put, but I haven't a true clue what it really is. It's possible it's under 25%, but it couldn't be by much. I drink a lot of Belgian ales, German lagers and pints of good English pale.

drinking the sixth glass immediately cut my import(belgians and belgians brewed in canada) consumption by 75%. now the only ones i buy are unibroue maudite and the godlike deliciousness that is gulden draak.

If I could get more Drie Fontenein and Cantillon, it would be higher than 10%.

Yeah- many of the German lagers are in 'by the case' territory for me, and if not there's many repeats through the year. I also do have a few American brews that I buy just as much of (including Pilsners!), to be fair, but there just aren't as many as the bocks, helles, weizenbiers, etc.

And as much as I sometimes tease, IPAs are also something I'm really into, so that all keeps the percentages to where they are for me.

It's hard to disagree. A Chevy Sonic is a thing of beauty.

I mix in Belgian ( quads & dubbels) and German ( doppelbocks , weiss...) beers somewhat regularly. And I tick off other countries. A stout from Spain last weekend was a pleasant surprise. So I estimate I'm in the 10-25% group.

I say about a quarter of my beer intake is imported. Love the variety and quality of the American craft scene. However, those centuries old formulas from Germany are freakin amazing.

I prolly run 90-10 American. I wish the imports would get away from the green bottles. There's so much difference between the beer on tap and the bottled beer.

I probably drink <2% imports (mostly Belgians), and of the beer I do drink, >90% is brewed within 50 miles of where I live. Live is too short to drink pasteurized beer that is 6+ months old and had to travel 5000 miles to get to me.

HefeWeizens and Tripels, not all of the time, but 10-15% is a fair estimate

Belgian and French lately----the Americans have a hard time standing up to the tripels, blondes, and amber of those countries.

As a Canadian American is import. With the weak Canadian dollar right now I have been restricting my American beer purchases considerably. $22 for a six pack is a bit tough. Good thing I can get some good Canadian beer here in Alberta for almost 50% that cost.
