    It was a Belgian kind of night last night. Split these with my 85 year old grandfather-in-law. If you have never seen a drunk 85 year old, you are missing out! Hilarious.

    Brought this back from TX since my sister-in-law liked it. Not being a bee, I don't know what beebalm tastes like, but I guess this might be what the brewer intended. One (bottle) and done.

    Morning beer peeps and Happy Friday! This is officially the last "summer" weekend, before the autumnal equinox arrives next Wednesday....going to make the most of it....off today through through Sunday....supposed to be sunny and 82 today, so I am going sailing! Will not be many more days like this.....

    Anyway, enjoy your Friday and drink well....

    Digging this new Fathead's brew....very "citrusy"....really good, and just bottled 9 days ago! Yum!

    Really liked this one. Was expecting it to be way too hoppy, but I was wrong. Would never have guessed this is a triple IPA.

    Good morning/night cap. Almost 1am Saturday on the north island of Aotearoa and finishing with a scrumptious chocolate stout - Hallertau Brewing's "Double Stout 2014" I got at the brewery:

    Dark bittersweet chocolate and dry roasty linger. Toffee and plum emerge as liquid warms. Dry, smooth medium mouthfeel with moderate plus carbonation. There is a little alcohol here, but linger is dark fruit, bittersweet chocolate, and roasty malt. Best stout I've had yet on the island!

    Walking with the dogs this afternoon among the sheep in Cornwall Park, near the top of One Tree Hill:
