That's great news! I literally live right around the corner, so I'll definitely be there. Could always use more double citra in my life - just finished a growler of it last week.

    And so it begins.....just kidding

BBD's is Beers, Burgers and Desserts. It's a bar/restaurant in Rocky Point. The prices are pretty reasonable (aside from absolutely bizarre "vintage" bottle price) and the menu is quite food-centric (Chef's choice Ramen, Seitan wings, Poutine fries etc..)

The place is pretty new, but it seems like the owner is pretty well connected. Had Harlan last month, Everett the past several weeks, and there was a Lost Nation event recently.

Definitely worth checking out. I wouldn't necessarily bust-ass to get their today because nothing has tapped quickly (yet). It would not surprise me if the majority of the taps made it through the weekend. The bar area is kind of small and sort of in the middle of everything, so if you can't find a seat, your best bet would probably getting a table and food.

The Jeffrey tapped Double Citra last night, still had it this afternoon. Who doesn't love a liquid lunch on a beautiful NYC Friday?

I don't think it's been mentioned yet, but it looks like Mug's has a dedicated Hill Farmstead tap now. They've had something different on tap every time I go there.

I know HF tappings aren't really newsworthy at this point, but Fool's Gold has five of them on tap right now, including Abner. I was there last night and it felt like I was at the Blackback Pub in Waterbury! Plus, Tesseract on tap.

Were there six people sitting there in a city seemingly totally unaware that they have the best tap list on the East Coast? Because that was my experience.

Haha, yeah most were preoccupied with football. The dude next to me was hip to it though, and quickly became my pal. Beer is cool like that.

I know this thread is somewhat redundant now, but it looks like Twilight of the Idols (Torst; Owl Farm) and Excursions #5 (Torst) are making their rounds.
