I agree. It makes sense to me to can on Friday, sell all on premise on Saturday to have a clean walk-in on Monday. While it might be nice to buy cans at retail on a larger scale, it just involves more work for OH to move palettes around their already cramped facility and then have Anthony load and deliver cans on top of kegs. For BGH's anniversary party they did deliver Hop Showers for the event.

Wasn't able to make the release but did have a friend grab me some, so will get to it soon. Great to hear you think I will like these. It is amazing how great local IPA scene is now, between OH stuff, Barrier Money and Singlecut Mo Shuggie, trying to figure out what I should drink this weekend!

Anybody try culturing out some yeast from a can to homebrew with or have insight into what yeast they're using?

I agree as I had it last week. It was one of the 1st OH beers I had when they were brewing at Kelso. To put it nicely, it has come a long long way and keeps getting better.

I heard a rumor that it was Citra, Cascade and AGE.

3 cans isn't the norm, but that would be awesome! Any word @Kanger ?

Yes I believe there will be three cans this week. 2 single hops and AGE. So I'm guessing there will be slightly smaller runs of each.

"First triple can release! This saturday starting at 10 am. Four 4 pack limit for each beer. $16 4 pack for cascade and citra and $20 4 pack for All Green. Cascade IPA is the newbie on the block and cascade hops are a big part of the reason craft beer is what it is today. We felt we needed to show it the love it deserves."

How crazy are the lines for this usually?

Varies...Last release (hop showers and amarillo), I arrived around 11:45 and had to wait about 45 minutes. At 12:30, the line was pretty much where it was when I'd arrived (outside in front of the room where they were selling the cans). I'm guessing this one will be worse as Citra and AGE will be in higher demand.

not that crazy. Amarillo was in high demand last release, that's all that was.

AGE has been canned 6 times now, with each release seeing progressively fewer people attend (the last time they had cans last until they opened again the following Wednesday)

what I'm trying to say is: DON'T GO SUPER EARLY AND BUILDING UNNECESSARY HYPE
