On my phone browser driving to the Garth Brooks concert that my wife surprised me with tonight, so don't hate me as I've been working on this post all day.

So I get home late last night from holiday, go outside to grab the mail and trip over a box. I know this to be a box of beer, as the excessive use of tape always gives them away. Now you see, I have both FedEx and UPS alerts and always know when a box is coming. But this time I did not, as I had turned off all notifications on my phone this past week and did not check email at all. So truly a surprise. Who could this be from?

First thing I thought of were juicy NE IPA's, rustic farmhouse saisons, and maybe even BA Lagers. And I was right, along with one of my favorite permawants........

Well, since we're on the topic of @whyteboy003 I figured I'd share the sheer destruction he dropped on me today. I know this comes as no surprise to anyone, but this is how Matt retaliates after I simply sent him 6 bottles.

Matt, thank you so much! Truly appreciative of just how awesome you are.
Most of this is already in the fridge getting cold so I can enjoy and share with some friends. Easily the most special and outstanding collection of people on BA. The posts from above and this one are just a fraction of the proof needed.

Box landed in Florida...it's not quite the 100+ pounds this generous person sent...but I did throw my back out getting it into the UPS store.

 

@Clarkson I hope the growler arrived ok their flip tops get leaky and I was SO paranoid about sending it!!! You have another round 7 box going out Monday w more stuff as I picked up some more yesterday!

Sorry for the two boxes and the second being late! It will have some of those juicy ipas and it will not be a disappointment!

 

Touchdown in FL today

 

So I came home expecting the wasteland of my porch. BUT...

The FedEx guy was too lazy to walk it all the way to the door and left it in the driveway.



Nobody realizes the strength of my property, or the damage potential of FedEx. I was kinda worried until I picked it up. Seb has clearly been burned before, because he was prepared.



Box in a box. But FedEx tried. Real hard. They actually started to dent the inner box. Fucking savages.

Inside, the first beer I opened had some dampness, and there was a slight hint of stale beer odor. But, I couldn't find any damage or leakage.

After unwrapping it, Seb must have been drunk the other day. He said he was sending a '14 Parabola, but it was nowhere to be found. Am I disappointed?

I'll let you decide.

I didn't see anything broke or leaking, so I guess some of your packing material had residue. Made me nervous going through but damn! You'll get yours at some point.

 

Duuude. Glad it got there safe. But trust me, You're still getting a Parabola '14. No clue how 2 '15s ended in there and i swear i wasnt drunk (worst part) when i packed it. It was actually 6 am before work to ship ovenight ( which is probably worse than being drunk!).
