But why shouldnt a whippersnapper be able to pay homage to those that have shown a rookie the way of the force? I find It a sad day when a man can't destroy another man porch out of pure respect and admiration!

 

Hmmm, I always pass by this because I'm unwilling to pay crazy PA prices for it ($25ish) I might have to consider it again though.

 

I (no exaggeration) have enough beer in my basement to last me a year, and have forwarded on my winnings for the last few I won. Besides, there are so many boxes flying around here that I typically only enter LIF's if a) they are sports related and involve some knowledge of the subject, b) they are for something celebrating a wedding or birth, or c) if I happen to be on BA a ton and enter a random guess just to get it over with and stop thinking about it.

And I actually have a few LIF ideas that I will be offering soon because while I actually stopped doing the ounce/bottle calculation, I feel like from a quality/quantity standpoint I've received more beer than I've sent; I don't necessarily have the variety/level of stuff that my Colorado or Boston brethren, for example, do, so I'll probably instead end up offering a multi-winner LIF or a few small ones.

 

I only had 20 people sign up for the LIF that I most recently ran. It is not about people being resentful or unforgiving, a lot of us are participating in Round 7 and there are some huge boxes being sent out and some may not want to receive any more beer at the moment or run a LIF in the near future. Several people only do LIFs so that they can forward the winnings onto someone who in this case may not have had the pleasure of trying Pliny, but you put that stipulation in that we cannot forward it on. We are allowed to have free choice in what LIFs/BIFs that we choose to participate in.

 

Where you spending your holiday?

 

I wish I would have known this! I have 2 that I don't want, well 1 now, the other is yours. I'm not much into barleywines.

 

I can respect that, and appreciate the thought. Just know that box will come with retaliation.
