That's why this site is great; we all have a difference in opinion. I would NEVER call BP a "one hit wonder" by any stretch. Sort of disrespectful, ya dig? That said, from someone who used to LOVE and CRAVE Sculpin, it's severely lacking these days. It's not a benchmark; it's a disgrace to its former self. Larrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrge.

That was intentional, friend. I guess you failed to see what I was doing there. Cheers.

I dig it. There's nothing wrong with your opinion. After all, it's yours. Let's drink to that.

I agree. Awesome. We should meet up somewhere, preferably a favorite beer joint of yours, and enjoy some good brews. I enjoy your beer reviews. It's all relative... Agree 100%

Whenever I think of this topic I always think Ithaca Brewing. Flower Power is one my favorite beers and the rest of their lineup is barely mediocre. IMO of course.

Pumpkin Down from ballast point is my favorite fall beer ever. Ive never had sculpin. Had grapefruit sculpin and didn't like that lingering fruit peel. :flushed: They are hit or miss with me. I loved calm before the storm. I did not like yellowtail. Looking foward to calico if i can find it again and big eye and even keel.

The only breweries i can think that makes a good beer with the rest not to my liking is Magic Hat. #9 is ok. The rest is meh.

I like Dales pale ale, but didnt like Oskar Blues IPA too much and mamas yella pils honestly disappointed me. But looking foward to ten fidy and pinner.

    Oskar Blues.

Ten-Fidy is the only great beer they make.

Goose Island comes to mind immediately, BCBS is do good, everything else is eh. I'm assuming we're not talking seasonal variants here.

Not a fan of Ballast Point, I like Grapefruit Sculpin quite a bit, regular not so much. I like Habenaro too, but one is enough. Big Eye is ok, but it's expensive for what it is. Fresh is a big deal with these, they dropped the price point on Sculpin from $17 to $14, and it's still a slow mover.
