    It's good.

I get a slightly less complex KBS with a more creamy mouthfeel.

It's a good brew that costs less than KBS and is apparently much more readily available. I got 2 bottles at $3.33 each OTD and there were two cases on the shelf.

I give kudos to Bells for making this beer widely distributed in good quantity. So many complain about limited availability and now we get a top notch brew that everyone will get a chance to have and people hating.

You BA's are a fickle bunch...

Seeing as KBS is barrel aged, it would certainly make sense it might cost more than the 30th Anniversary Ale.

Don't hate! He's sharing the wealth with others from out of state like myself who will be lucky to find a store selling more than one bottle per customer.

Meijer in Ann Arbor Michigan on Carpenter Rd was stocked when I bought 4 six-packs this morning. Don't panic, I'm betting there will be a fair amount of this floating around...

I hit the Ann Arbor Meijer on Carpenter around 9:00 PM, only 2 six packs left after I grabbed a case. I can't be the only one grabbing cases. Bells general store limits customers to one case, so I really don't feel bad. It's a special beer that I will give to friends and family during special occasions.

Bell's sells them by the case because they have pallets of them at their general store. You may have bought out 1/10 of that stores allocation. Also, grabbing "cases"?? Ha-ha I'm sure you didn't mean you've grabbed more than one, just razzing ya.

Is there actually coffee and chocolate in the 30th Anniversary? The description led me to believe it is a non-adjunct AIS.

No adjuncts, just a very well made Imperial Stout.

Breweries are still allowed to do that these days?

Anyone spot it in Oakland County? I know 8 Degrees and Holiday got it in yesterday but it's already gone.

Nah, just one case. I was actually going to drive to Bells and buy a case. But seen the post for it in Ann Arbor so it saved me about 3 hours of car time.

For my tastes, it's the best stout they've bottled aside from Black Note. And maybe Batch 9000. But this might seriously be the second best stout they've ever bottled, in my opinion.

Seconded. I'm buying more, the two six packs form the general store aren't going to be enough.

Finally drank one. It's great. This is serious beer-making. Nicely done, Bell's!
