You'll have no problems if u arrive on time.. even later u should be able to sit down and enjoy yourself.. not condoning or telling u ppl will be doing a bottle share but bring something just in case.. lots of places to chill around oddside

Sounds like 9am, and no limits this year. (At odd side)

Hopefully that means they made a TON of it  no way could I get there that early, so I'd be bummed to get there later and miss out.

Anybody remember last years price for reference?

My wife might think I am crazy to drive all the way over there, it's about 1.5 hours. But if my son comes with me, maybe she'd be happy to get us out of the house. All depends if we volunteer to do thanksgiving again this year. Otherwise I'll be way too far away.

Now if only the pronto pup booth was still open then... My son keeps telling men was his favorite thing from the summer. And I don't know what to do in GH with a toddler when it is cold. We usually ride our bike and hit the beach.

100 for a case, it lasted for about a week.

It's really busy and tight, would not recommend bringing small children.

Have you been recently? Double the space now. I wouldn't recommend bringing kids in the morning, but mid-afternoon will be fine

At that time I don't think people realized how hard this would be to get in distro, so I expect there might be quite a few more people this year.

Can some one give me the run down on how BC release works? Thinking about going this year for the first time.

So LP Binny's is the place to be? What about going to GI? Does everyone that show up get their limit or does it sell out?

Last year, I drove 15 minutes and snagged bombers of Proprietors, Coffee and a 4 pack of regular. After consuming these easily purchased beers, I scratched my buns and wondered why anyone would put forth more effort.

In addition to your comment, I don't think the beer community caught on to how damn good this beer turned out to be. Hipster was still a blip on the radar screen because Black Friday was all about Bourbon County.

Agreed. Based on this thread alone, I don't think you can gauge this year's release of hipster based on last year's release. Wasn't last year the first year it was released? You can never judge a second year based on the first.

GI doesn't sell. You have to go to Binny s/ other stores but GI will have everything on tap to try

Thanks... does the LP Binny sell out? Meaning, do you have to get their 5 hours early or do people just do that because they are crazy for beer?

5 hours early might be the latest I would push it. For reference I got in line last year at 5am and was #532 in line.

If you are leaning towards Chicago I will tell you to pick which Binnys you want to go to and plan on being in line somewhere between 4:00 and 6:00 a.m. It might even be a little crazier now with the new bottle format, Good luck if you make the trip.
    cheers

Maybe I'll just sleep in and spend the day with my family... and then I can just keep trading for it
