Anybody know a rough timeframe for when I can get some Two Hearted without having to drive to Kentucky?

If they are, I hope they up their distribution game. They've only delivered here 3 or 4 times so far this year. That's not gonna cut it when Bell's hits.

Here's the official Bell's announcement. Sounds like we should start seeing Bell's on shelves starting in November.

Why wouldn't you get Two Hearted if you get Founders Centennial IPA? Isn't Centennial around the same or higher ABV than Two Hearted?

You are correct, I mixed up centenial and dry hopped pale ale. That and All day are all we get.

Worth noting for the Jackson distribution area, be glad that Central got distributing rights for Bells. They seem to care about the craft beer growth and have embraced it, while DET seems to be stuck on the idea of imports. I had two DET reps come in the other day and talked for a minute or two about some branding and one of the reps continually bashed craft beer and dismissed it as silly.

If you don't think DET isn't going to be losing more shelf space from my store, you are crazy.

Has landed in the Tri-Cities and I believe Knoxville too. Looks like Bells is doing a good job of hitting the entire state at the same time.

Excise taxes for beer in Tennessee are the highest in the country, so many breweries choose to save the coin and skip us. And, they are not being cheap...it's pretty bad...check it out: http://www.taxadmin.org/fta/rate/beer.pdf

I'm not complaining; working at a brewery might be the best job in the world. But beer taxation here is unusually punitive and thus warrants some commentary.

Yes, very true. Beer taxes in Tennessee are ridiculously high.

Went to an introductory tasting last night. We've had it here in VA for a while and I'm familiar with Bell's from my time in OH but happy to see them in TN as well. They are a solid brewery across the board.

Picked up a 6 of two hearted last night. Bottled on 10/31. Can't wait to crack a few tonight!

It's so nice to have another reliable IPA that is readily available in Tennessee. No slight against the local breweries here that bottle IPA's, but Two Hearted is a cut above most widely distro'd IPAs throughout the country.

Agreed. Hopefully we will have a good local option soon. I really want to try Smith and Lentz that just opened up they have three ipas in their lineup. I also recently got to try the Ipa from Bearded Iris and it was very tropical and delicious.

@Askarzy - I could not agree more on Bearded Iris Habit IPA; that's my favorite IPA brewed in Tennessee to date. Can't wait for the brewery to open up.

Smith & Lentz was great. The double was good and I though the Mosaic IPA was very good as well. Tons of potential.
