Received 2 different trade shipments last week. First one had 4 Julius cans and the second had 6 J cans. Most excellent. Extra cans of Eureka w/ Mosaic and Nelson included. Enjoyed the Nelson Eureka. So glad I got to experience the Julius.

I really hope some of these lagers start finding their way into cans. Think about it, lagers in cans. It's so crazy it just might work!

Hey quick question, grabbed growlers on friday (had a fantastic time and met some awesome people), transported them in a cooler, and then fridged them. Noticed this morning the double shot and julius growlers had leaked down the side and dried. Seal seems tight otherwise, any idea how the carb will be affected?

Did it look like there was less liquid in the growler? Because they tend to fill them and let them overflow (which leaks down the side) and they don't always wipe them off. Couple of my growlers from Saturday have some dried beer on the sides.

They still look full but there was liquid on the bottom in the cooler so i think some got out....

This happened to one of my DS 750 growlers on Thursday. A little bit of the elastic on the growler tag was under the flip-top and as a result the seal wasn't perfect and a little beer got out on the car ride home. I simply opened it and readjusted the tag so it wasn't caught under the flip-top. Reopened to drink the beer last night and it was fine. Perfectly carbed.

Seems like Wednesday can sales are helping reduce the Thursday crowd, it would be a good move to keep these going.

It seems like the last few times I have checked the website, cans are never listed for sale. Is this because they are done with the daily amount at that point or because they only have limited times when cans hit retail? I'll be in the area on Wednesday/Thursday and wanted to plan my visit accordingly.

They announce Wednesday can sales on twitter about an hour before opening. You can also check this thread because it usually gets posted here within 15min too

After closing on Saturday, they update the site. This usually results in no cans listed cuz they sold out. Check back on Tues/Weds and there will be cans listed. Twitter usually seems to announce them first.

In your experience, if cans are for sale on Weds, how long do they typically last? Gone that day or sticking around until Thurs.?

If they are selling cans on Wednesday, they either have enough to last until Saturday or are planning another canning run later in the week. They've never started to sell new cans on Wednesday and run out that day

I sure hope the Wednesday opening pattern that I have been trying to follow over the last month + continues as we have our fingers crossed that we can stop on by TH during the tail end of our 15 hr drive from NC to Mom's house in Mass on the 30th. Anyway, in preparation for this trip I have tried to diligently study the pattern which appears to have taken place and have noted the following... Julius seems to be released in cans every other week and my unscientific (nor predictive) notes show that, when that happens, they have opened up on Wednesdays (sure hope I have this one right ). Now, the last can release of J was on Wednesday (9/16) which I am praying puts the next J can release being available on Wednesday (9/30). Praying that the TH Gods shine a little light on us that day as it sure looks like there is one hell of a good thing going on in Monson these daze.
