First of all, it's only with five friends, and they're all going to take their own bottles home -- I wouldn't take a non-beer-loving mule to the party. But yes, I see a bottle at G&G in the future...

And I was speaking somewhat tongue-in-cheek about Ann. Still, someone traded one for an '09 Dark Lord! You never can account for taste.

Only the two people who participated in it. Who knows if any trade is real?

I seriously hope to trade for Ann anyway to open at one of our tasting side by side with T-25 to see which one has more perfect 5s. We should set up a T-25 Trade Association, assign T-25 value ~ Ann and no one's allowed trade below that.

I dont know what is more hard to believe, a trade like that went down or 09 DL is "drinking flawlessly."

Isn't T-25 a sour? Should blow past a saison imo. Saisons - blech.

Sour saison, though. It's a totally different thing. T-25 is a blended sour, with some expected similarities to T-20 and Deviation. Only tonight will tell.

I know right? Pretty much every sour I've had is either phenomenal or better.

C'mon, now. Ann had its week in the sun. Time for people to leap for the next branch. Gotta find something to trade King Henry for.

I admittedly only spent about 15 mins trying to search through old threads about Sloth, but when I was up there in May, drinking Sloth, Mark told me that it was the original batch. And it was admittedly mild, thin, and calm (in addition to being extremely nuanced and complex), especially compared to the fresh bourbon barreled Mammoth Extra Stout I had beside it, which was crude oil rich and viscous with barrel.

One of HF's next releases will be a Madeira barrel aged Rye Imperial Stout, limit 1 per person they will just steal the spotlight back soon anyways.

You know it. Especially since genealogy is pretty dope on it's own. Everyone in the trade forum get back in line. :grimacing:

The genealogy served at the anniversary party was pretty damn awesome. Looking forward to the barrel version.

Yeah and that was a 2011 version I think. I didn't want to stand in the crazy line so I missed out but I had a glass when they poured it at the previous harvest(?) fest. Looks like this years' will be on tap in September.

There was a second batch of Sloth that was on-tap around Christmas 2011. I saw the barrels back in March 2011, so I know it exists. However, that doesn't mean what you had on-tap in May wasn't the original Sloth - MSBC is good about keeping vintage stuff around and occasionally bringing it out.

sweet, I traded my bottle of four roses for some 2010 bourbon county. I got to hold onto the good ones and 2010 bourbon county is drinking damn deliciously...
