Think @Eziel tricked us into outing his sender. :stuck_out_tongue:

Just kidding! Very cool dad! Sorry you lost a beer. Looks liked it was packed very well!

Yep, Dad is cool. I finally found a great beer store close to him so he'll occasionally swing in there and have the guy pack up a ninja box for me. Was looking forward to trying that Pirate Noir too! Luckily there was a second bottle in there

That was the first beer box that smelled like the floor at my old fraternity house circa 1998.

My parents live in Indiana and I've asked a few times for a nice box of 3 Floyd's. All I've gotten is 5 bottles of Yum-Yum when my mom came to visit once.

5 bottles? Sounds like Mom picked up a sixer and wanted to see what all the fuss is about.

Got a big ass box from Cali just a little bit ago at the office, I'm assuming it's from @Amarangakis for this BIF. Super pumped, I'll get it open and post the pROn when I have a chance this evening!

Unfortunately I can confirm the first fallen soldier of the Newbie BIF - My box got returned to me today because the contents were damaged. Thankfully the kind people at UPS discarded the one broken bottle and returned the rest, so it will be replaced and will go out again tomorrow.

I think the problem was that I used large-cell bubble wrap that probably pops too easily. Lesson learned and luckily only one soldier was lost!

Maybe I can attend the Elting school of beer wrapping if it ever travels to the Northeast

I may be able to help with the FFF if you ever want to set up a trade.

His name was Framinghammer, and he fought a good fight. Luckily there was another soldier at the ready to pick up his musket and charge back into battle.

Glad you got the photo thing figured out

For those that like the text approach, and in case @Yourahoser can't tell what's in the growlers (their labels can be hard to read):

Tired Hands Plumage (Biere de Garde)
Tired Hands Opal Skeletons Listening to Your Footsteps (IPA)
    Springhouse Big Gruesome
    Forest & Main Dochter Seizoen
    Russian River Supplication
    Westvleteren XII
    Troegs Hop Knife (x2)
    Surly Todd the Axe Man
    Westbrook Gose (x2)
    Fat Head's Head Hunter

There was also a Tired Hands glass in there, did it survive the journey?
