HMMM 11$ one way, might just take an uber or lyft. Flying in with someone else. A previous poster mentioned it was 28 on those services to downtown. Might just stick to utilizing Public Trans in the actual downtown area. Is there day passes or anything like that?

The 16th street mall bus is free and will take you from end to end.

Thats my plan as well, UBER from DIA and then free mall ride for places nearby and uber for Crooked Stave at the Source. BTW I dont mean to go off topic but coming from Texas and thinking about taking a JK Atrial to share, would like to try some good stouts so if anyone is interested PM me.

Gonna run the gauntlet this year...

Wed - WTF, Thurs - GABF, Fri - Rare Beer VIP, Sat - GABF Member's Only.

Wish me (and my liver) luck!

Has anyone noticed the absolute glut of GABF tickets available? People are losing money on this stuff. Hopefully it will be the end of scalping. But it's a little concerning, at the same time.

I don't think it's so concerning as it just reflects the quantity and quality of all the other events that surround it, many people (like I originally was going to do this year) was to skip GABF and spend the money going to other events throughout the week.

And, yes, hopefully the end of scalping.

On a positive note, I can't even phathom the amount of money brought into our state (and spent) this week on beer.... the number of events (and number of quality events!) keeps skyrocketing and they all seem to still be well attended.

P.S. - Huge thanks goes to the team at CSA!

My theory is that once the BA gave the ticketing rights to ticket master, a false demand was immediately created. Tickets sold out in minutes, and were found on stubhub for twice the price- moments later. I honestly don't think the other events have all that much to do with it.

Our plan is to head over to the convention center after Rare Beer and see how little we can pay to get in. I'm budgeting $30, and wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being less.

Do you think the situation this year will prompt some tweaks on the part of the GABF next year?

Just when I thought my streak of 4 in a row was coming to an end, a free ticket found its way into my hands. Hooray GABF!

I'm loving it myself. Screw all those people who bought tickets just to scalp them

Yes but there are also honest people like myself who ended up with (1) more ticket than they need, and are going to lose money on the deal.

I can't wait to be inside you again, Denver! Save some Casey bottles for me.

Also, I never saw a clear answer on the best way of getting downtown from the airport via Public Transit. Or should I just take Uber and be done with it?

    Skyride to Union station

Skyride is $11, leaves every 30-60 minutes depending on time of day, and takes an hour or so depending on time of day, Uber will be around $40 and takes about 25 minutes. For convenience and saving time splitting an Uber is the way to go, but if not possible you can save $30 taking the bus

If the Casey is all gone I might be able to help you out
